Some more thoughts...

I have to say that for me personally tennis has not been enjoyable since I
started really following Roger's matches back in the beginning of 2006. It's
been just too stressful, not joyful at all except for the W at the end. I
regret I didn't follow him back in 2003-2004 when he hadn't created the
"monster" and it was just enjoyable to play tennis. I wonder when Roger lost
that joy for tennis. Maybe back in 2006 when he was making every final and
it all sort of became perfunctory after that. Is it even possible at this
point for Fed to rediscover his joy for the game, or only Ws matter?

It'd be nice for a change to watch a Roger match and just like the tennis.

I find watching Federer incredibley stressful and i hate to see him keep losing to Nadal, especially since its obviously becoming more and more difficult for him to deal with.

At the end of the day however, I still believe he is the most aesthetically pleasing tennis player I have ever had the joy of watching. Nadal could become 9ft tall and develop a 700mph backhand, but ultimately it is the incredible angles, graceful movement and superb shotmaking which have and will always capture my imagintion.

Regardless of how successful Nadal is in the next few years, I simply don't enjoy his tennis as much as Federer. Brute force will never win over technique for me.

To say Rafa tennis is brute force tennis, with no technique hold little meaning. It's like saying a bodybuilder with a racket will beat Federer. Is that how you think about Nadal and Roger?
