Fortunately his injury can´t be too bad because he plays the Challenger this week in Lugano. Entered with a wildcard and is no 1 seed - hopefully he´ll have a great week.

I´ve uploaded the photos of Rosmalen on www.canas-online.de

Polgara: Where is Lugano? Do you think he is playing a challenger event for confidence and to work out his game?

Good news indeed :D
I've been watching his match against Haas again yesterday and until he got hurt, he was playing really good.

Best of luck in Lugano!!!

Lugano is in the southeast of Switzerland, near the Italian border directly at a lake.

He played great on gras, he just again had bad luck. Hopefully he can go on like that on clay. I think he wants to get some confidence and also some points. He already has problems to get into the next big events in the States.

Willy plays the early evening match against Jan Minar who is a Czech. The place sounds lovely.

Unfortunately I won't be home by then, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I hope he can go far. Will be good to have some matches in preparation for Gstaad :)

Good time in the moment for Willy :)

Clear win in Lugano and he´ll play at the Olympics - singles and doubles with Nalbandian. I´m really glad for him after these s... weeks he had.

Thanks for the updated news Polgara. I went onto the Lugano site and looked up results and couldn't find his match. I go a bit worried as I thought he must of retired. Also thanks for the news of him playing Nalby I now have to go an email my friend who is really worried about Nalbandian and is freaking out. She is a bit obsessive but she is a lovely girl.

Good result!! He plays David Guez later today.
Vamos Willy :D

@Aquarianbabe: There is a life SB on the Lugano homepage and you can click the results there too ;)

There was picture of a player in the gallery section on page 3 who looked a little bit like Willy, same back, facial hair and pony tail but the only difference that there was a tattoo on his back and not one on his arm and his hair looked a little lighter and shorter. I stared at the photo and thought oh no not another injury but it wasn't him after looking it for a bit longer. Sorry for rambling.

Good news indeed. Why is Dani called Crazy? And does he look that good from the front. Because I thought he does not look that bad. Will go look him up on the ATP website.

Have just gone and checked Dani out and he has changed his hair colour and his last name is spelt Koellerer but there is also a player called Sven Koehler.

Willy plays Olivier Patience not before 6pm. The night matches looks like it would be a nice evening of tennis. The late match is between Mr Potato Head (Potito Starace) and Luis Horne.

 Coz he sometimes freaks out on court...
And no, he doesn't look bad at all ;)

Willy plays Olivier Patience today (in case you don't know him, he's the one in the pic on the far right of my sig).
Sorry Olivier, but I only cheer for you if you don't play Willy

(and I'm praying in silence for a Willy-Lucho final)

:speakles: Not going smoothly for Willy... 1st set went to a TB (2-2 now)

He lost the TB...
Have to go now. Gotta take my dog to the vet.
Come on Willy! I'm hoping for a good result to come home to :awww:

OMG Willy lost 6-7 0-6...

This 2nd set bagel isn't normal at all, but the Lugano homepage doesn't give any details. I hope he's ok :scared:

Martine thanks for the info. WTF is going on with him. Even when he has lost before it's never a bagel. This tops of the crappy week I've had but yes I hope he is ok. Might check on his other website.

Hope your dog is ok! What's your dog name?

There won't be anything on his homepage because Helga is off to Stuttgart.
Hope his leg isn't bothering him again. Patience isn't the most consistent guy but when he's on he can play very good, but this still doesn't justify the bagel.

I have 4 dogs, all Belgian Malinois, but the one I'm competing with's name is "Fils" (pronounced "fiss" which means "son" in French). He hurt his shoulder during a trial last weekend and had to get treatment. Hope he'll be ok again with another week of rest. (you can see his picture in my profile ;) )
