Federer is clearly and by far the best tennis player in the world

Just watching him in Wimbledon 2nd round and thinking, how can anyone even think that there is an active player who can be compared to him (regardless of the outcomes of current tournaments). His tennis is class ahead anyone elses, including Nadal.
Someone wrote in another thread "Nole is not good enough to be a part of the big three, there is only Roger and Nadal". No, there is only Roger

Looks like the Fedtards have become insecure enough that they must make these sorts of threads to re assure themselves.

Pathetic.

Re-assure in what? In what is obvious to plain eye? I'm talking about what I currently see on the court, not about the results

i think only Nadal deserves to be put up their with Federer his results on grass and clay have been consistent

I'm far from being his fan, but he isn't no.1 for 5 years without a reason ;)

He doesn't. I'm not talking results now. There's a difference in class between their's games

Maybe a minor difference, but you're underestmating Nadal too much. Roger really plays perfect tennis for grass, but it's not only grass. Rafa is much better on clay than Roger is on grass. IMO, that will eventually cost him the no.1 spot :)

Well it didn't cost him until now but that's not the point of this thread

Fedtards in full swoon... umh! It must be the grass court season.

Federer is not clearly and by far the best player in world.

He's just the highest ranked one at the moment. At the end of year, at the masters cup, after Federer has won and has clinched the number 1 ranking again than yes...I will agree he is the best player in world. Until then I could make a case that anyone of the top guys Nadal, Djokovic, or heck even Davydenko are the best player.

Which is not what it used to be... but still while watching Fed play on this half-grass you can kind of understand why Wimbledon used to be considered unofficial world tennis cup

What you're talking about? Federer dominated the whole tour (including the hardcourt/indoor and grass season) for the last 4 years!

:retard:

Then what criteria are you using to measure the best player? A magic 8 ball?

Or some other type of 8 ball? :o

:yeah: I got exactly the same feeling you mentioned when I was watching him in the FO Final. Obviously I'm not talking about results here. Even when he is being bagelled there is not one player in the world comparable to him. Simply the best.

Bolleli is clearly and by far the best tennis player in the world. Have you seen his serve and his backhand and his mental toughness?? I'm saying it, so it's a fact. Period.

I'm thinking they are talking about his style is just pure class and the best to watch regardless of results. It's like how some felt about Henin even though she's lost enough to Venus and Serena. Some people still think she's the best all around. I don't agree about Henin but I get it.

Ridiculous thread given the fact that the match isn't over and he is struggling badly in the 3rd set. Why couldn't you wait until after the match ?

Ohhh ho ho, you just have this funny feeling that he's the best player in the world?

Results. Results. Clearly Federer has had the results in his career, so did Sampras and many other greats. It's just at some point they weren't the best player anymore, they were still great just not the best week in and week out player.

If this is just about a funny feeling that you have than that's what I like to call your opinion. Most people however look at titles, and current form to quantify greatness. You might wanna look at those aforementioned imperial standards sometime...it could be an eye opener.

Smash.

I'm talking about when Fedtards are cuddled together in a hole awaiting the final outcome of the clay court season you don't see sh*t threads like this one. But come grass court season - jeese louise.

Up next

> Federer is clearly and by far the best person in the world
> Federer is clearly and by far has the best parent and girlfriend
> Federer is clearly and by far the best dresser and the most cultured
Therefore -
> Federer is clearly and by far the best spokesman for tennis and because he wins on grass all the time, Wimbledon is clearly and by far the best tournament ever, ever

Maradona could look bad in a given match but no one disputed his was a class apart. Mohamed Ali same. Michael Jordan. etc. This thread sais: that's Federer today in tennis.
But obviously many people don't agree. I wanted to make this dispute in GM but it seems no one wants it. bah

Rod Laver says the best moments for him watching tennis have come from watching Federer ... that's good enough for me to ignore anyone who thinks differently.
