Boggo sure had his chances there...led by a mini-break in both tiebreaks, only to drop both serves immediately after, and had set points in each of the 1st and 4th sets. Not only that, but I genuinely thought he looked the better player out there for large parts of the match (admittedly didn't see 3rd set). Expected result, but maybe not the "fair" one, if you know what I mean.

Boggo was robbed today.
The umpire had a nightmare from start to finish. Hope she doesn't get another match this tournament.
That call she made saying adv Bolelli before the point was over was shocking. Ball went over the net and would have given him Break Point. Then he goes and gets broken next game.
I'm angry about this match!

Well done Bolelli. In time he'll improve on grass as it's really not his surface right now. ;)

Poor Boggo's now having his LTA funding withdrawn according to the BBC.:eek::eek:
1829: BBC Radio 5 Live correspondent Jonathan Overend reports that Bogdanovic's LTA funding is about to be withdrawn. Boggo, it should be pointed out, claims to know nothing about that. But here's Overend: "The LTA has gone on record as saying Brad Gilbert's contract will expire after the US Open. It's my understanding that Bogdanovic won't be receiving any further assistance from the LTA towards his coaching. An awful lot of investment has been made since a very young age, he has got through more coaches than virtually any other player the country has ever had. The Brad Gilbert experiment hasn't worked - it's been a ridiculous waste of money - and with seven matches and seven defeats he is unlikely to get another wildcard at Wimbledon."
