Like them both so I couldn't cheer in this one but congrats to Andi :yeah:

Close match in the end.

Congrats to Baby Gordo too for his performance lately! He surely has the potential and hope to see a lot more of him :yeah:

Had Schwank any match points?

No, I don't think so (but indeed the SB froze)

Schwank had at least minibreak in TB 5*-3 and his serve coming and still managed to lose it

Schwank is a fighter but also has a terrible tb record. He was trailing by a set and a break and was able to come back, but then was unable to close the deal from *5-3 in the tb. Still a good week for him considering it's his first ever grass tournament.

Well, it's going fast for him lately, but I sure hope he'll become a consistent top 100 (or better  ) player

If I remember well following the odds on betfair it did seem that Schwank had one match-point at 7-6* in the tie-break.

how do you know he didn't have 7-6? He had 2 serves at 5-6 if I remember correctly so it's certainly possible.

Losing to Seppi on grass makes you a grass muppet for sure.

Losing to Seppi on grass makes you a grass muppet for sure.

What makes you a muppet is not cutting some slack to a player that a couple of months ago was playing challengers and almost makes QF of his first ever grass tournament. Is Schwank the next Sampras? No. Did he earn the right to be taken seriously? Yes.

He may get better on it, but right now he's a muppet - he lost to Seppi.

Is that so hard to understand?

Seppi is quite good on grass.

What you on about glenn?

Seppi is a general muppet and a pusher. Not grass material.

Seppi made the SF of Nottingham 2 years ago
