Solid display from Djoker, but he wasn't that good as Llegs was awful. If Novak learns how to move on grass and improve his volleys, he might became a strong contender for Wimbledon crown.

his lethal ground game allows him to go to the net at his own terms. he does not need to be able to volley like Fed.
the guy is just a monster and he can shift gears.

Vintage crappy Hewitt. Started off badly and never got any better from there. Lost half his points through stupid errors and played the big points awfully, especially the 3 BPs he squandered in the 2nd set. Watching this match reminded me why I hate watching Hewitt play live. Djokovic didn't really have to do much at all today.

Solid performance by Novak. Great baseline game, great return, some nice drop shots but awful volleys and smashes (although was very few opportunities for that). Novak - work more on S&V and Wimbledon is your!

Hewitt is definitely not at his best.

The result is not a surprise...Djokovic beat Lleyton the last three times they played. However, it's disappointing that Lleyton didn't do better. I agree, too many UEs. And the wrong tactic. He can't serve well enough against Djokovic to serve him wide on grass. He needs to go into the body more and serve/volley him more, because I honestly don't think Djokovic can consistently pass him. And the drop shot to bring him into the net on uncomfortable terms would be a good tactic, if Lleyton can get his passes and lobs back up to speed. Lleyton used to have one of the best top spin lobs in the game...what happened to it? And who can forget how many times we saw him pass Sampras en route to his US Open title? Lleyton couldn't hang with Djokovic doing his usual game. Djokovic is too good for that...his results against Rafa using this tactic is proof enough, and Rafa is much better at this game than Lleyton now.

yeah i think djokovic is still a little ways off on grass... he must spend six weeks to strengthen the heart muscle to win on this stuff...
