good for kifa... but hope the reason why llodra retires do not affect him to play next tournaments.

I didn't watch it, but Llodra lost two service games to love, he probably couldn't serve.

Always the same problem with a shoulder nerve which has been bothering him for a while now.
He has mentioned it after every loss lately (in Hamburg, in RG...)
But he will most probably play Nottingham and Wimbledon, he feels in pain the one day and fine the other day.

"An old shoulder injury kept the Frenchman from playing on. The shoulder injury first occurred two years ago. After the exhausting matches over the last couple of days and also due to the increased humidity, the pain was too big to continue. However, he is expected to play at Nottingham and Wimbledon."

He said in Roland he would probably need to take some time off to get rid of this shoulder issue, but he meant he can't afford to do it atm.

Llodra seemed to have a few km/h fewer than normally on the radar gun. Kiefer returned well anyway, but it wasn't Llodra's 100% normal serving and this helped. After a short consultation with the trainer, he retired from the match.

Good run for Kiwi neverthless! First Halle semifinal since 2002! :yeah:

BTW, Kiefer was the last player to beat Federer in Halle (2002).
