There was an amazing point in the 3rd set that Kiefer won and broke Youzhny after that. I hope it will be Play of the Week.

What an incredible mental case Youzhny was in the first set, he missed volleys most of us here would have converted with ease. He also seemed to feel very uncomfortable out there yesterday, very unquiet and always found something to complain.

Kiefer then had a little period in which the line calls (all right IMO) were again more important than his own game. Quickly he lost his serve with pathetic errors and Youzhny won the 2nd set.

Overall, I was very glad with Kiefer's game. He played very good returns and I hardly have seen him missing a returnable serve in this match. Youzhny, to a big part of the match, won only 40-45% of his first serve points. And Kiefer showed some good points at the net and moved very well.

He has some chances against Llodra, especially if you're taking into account that he should like Llodra's netgame more than a solid baseliner's one.

Keep going, Kiwi! :bounce:

It seems Miskha is still not back to full strength. Keep practicing for Wimbledon.
