This Gasquet is good......on grass.
He'll have to be a little bit more efficient in converting BP's though :o

Wow I didn't really expect him to beat Super Mario. Well such a win ought to do wonders for his confidence.

Nalbandian or Mahut will be tough to beat.

He can beat Mahut ,he has done it last year at Wimbledon.
Nalbandian is another story though :o

He can beat them both. I don't think Nalbadian is so tough cookie. Course, if Richard play as today.

Congratulations Richard!! Proud of you! it's been a long time i didn't saw Richard go further than 1st round. Good gasquet, but he didn't took many opportunies of break points (only 1/10). Good luck for the next match!! He's starting well for this season on grass !!

Do you know what happened the last time they played? Granted, that was during the Reign of Sir Dave the Fit.

:woohoo: finally some good wins, :smash: ES for not showing it.

Nalbandian is one of the worst possibly opponent for Richard but I bigserves = Nalby killers so I think he'll face Mahut instead. Should be a good match anyway :D

Nalbandian or Mahut will be tough to beat.
I don't think a Mahut/Gasquet would be a good match to watch, not to mention the result. Never underestimate how crappy their game can become when a frenchie is playing another frenchie.
But a good win for Richard :worship: This match wad a good test, glad he made it.

I know but according to yesterday's Nalby performance I'd say it should be easier than today. Fat becomes fatter it seems:). Unlucky for us we never don't know what to expect from Richard.

:bigclap::bigclap: Oh How I LOVE the GRASS!

Good fight RIchard (Yea, You heard me I said FIGHT). Didn't see the match but to win a tiebreak 7-5 against Ancic, break at 4-4 in the second and then serve out the match the next game - had to be some fight there.

Yes either Nalbo or Mahut will be very tough but not impossible if Grass Court Richie shows up.

Considering his recent form ,that's a surprise but considering his usual form on Grass, that's not really a surprise.

I haven't seen Gasquet play the last 2 matches on grass. Can someone tell me if he's playing any differently now that he has Peyre as his new coach? Is he more aggressive? is he still standing 10 feet behind the baseline?
Hope Peyre can implement the changes in these particular flaws of Gasquet's game because if his game doesn't change at all then what's the purpose of changing coaches...?

Richard is turning out to be another Mauresmo. Hates playing in Paris, but LOVES playing in England. So weird. There was nothing wrong with him in Paris. Still we love his game here so he is more than welcome. :worship::worship::worship:

Spot-on. Too much pressure in Paris for ze frogs, and both players serious headcases.

Gasquet have once said there are two players on tour he has no idea how to play against. They are David Ferrer and David Nalbandian. But hope he can win.

Mario :( He has been struggling. Most of the time he still does enough to see off many players, but quite a few losses this year that he really should have won.

That's good news... now hope he can keep this form !

Well, it took Gonzo what 9 or 10 tries to beat Fed? SO maybe sometime in the next 4 or 5 matches. But this is strange year in tennis so who knows...
