Mahut just loves playing here. Average more than 8 aces per set (42 in 2 matches).

Fat Dave will be looking foward driving his hot rod to get those hot dogs next round so Mahut might as well have a bye.

Expected one.
good job mahut
He is good on grass.

Isner isn't used to playing low bounces on grass. That the reason he got to serve/volley more rather than staying back and playing flat strokes.

A breath of fresh air is Mahut, he plays grass court tennis the way it should be played.

Well played, Nico. :yeah:
Love seeing classic grass court tennis and I agree that Nico is such a lovely guy. Always a pleasure to support him!

For 5 weeks I'm a Nico fanboy. Fat Dave is a horrible match up for him but he should clinch it anyway.

Seeing Mahut in R1 made me remember just how good he was at this point last year...going to be tough to stop especially if he manages to serve as well as he did against Lopez.

Mahut is great on grass, let's hope he knocks out Fat Dave.

Seeing Mahut in R1 made me remember just how good he was at this point last year...I found him a bit crap against Lalo, but he said in l'Equipe he was ill just before the start of the tournament and should have normally pulled out. But Queens is by far his favourite tournament, so he desperately wanted to give it a try. That's why he was quite struggling after one set already.
He means he feels better now, so I guess you can keep betting on your hero, Henry.
