Roger showing everybody who's the boss on grass :sport:

Even though the second set shoulda been a bagel.
And he served like crap in the second.
And couldn't return to save his life in the first.

now lets wait for the tards to turn up and start moaning about him winning matches and making points ..

how dare he stick around and make Rafa/Nole's march to number 1 last longer

the green was very soothing to the eyes.

the passing shots were great. returns got better as the match went on.

hopefully his game gets tighter as the grass 'season' progresses.

opps forgot to mention, 55 in a row. YAY

Maybe he is, maybe he isn't the same player of the last few years. But to me there's still nothing more beautiful than watching Roger play tennis on grass. Great stuff today.

I haven't seen anything on MTF since ....um... three weeks ago. You better tell me...don't wanna to disturb Fed fellows.:p Was it some reference from Casablanca?

Lucky for Federer he wasnt playing a man or he would have lost without winning more than 4 games.

Why do people write off Berrer? He is very dangerous. He actually forces his opponents to play as bad as he does. It's not easy to rise above that.

Berrer had some good serves at the beginning of the match, but you never really got the feeling Federer could be troubled by him. Federer just stepped on the grass and it almost looked about as good as the years before.

Excellent idea for Roger to play here, for me the grass streak is irrelevant but forgetting about RG and getting some matches on grass is not.

Amazing how this surface rewards everything in his arsenal: serve, movement, return (ok after a while), solid volley, low-contact groundstrokes... a totally different man !
Go Rog, you still have a good chance to make this season unique in other ways then winning Estoril for the first time !
