Time for Grosjean to call it a day.

What are you talking about? It was a leg injury. It can happen to anyone, young or old.

I finally understand how Nina and Clydey believe Murray will make the Wimby QFs.

Have you seen him? He must have piled on a few stone.....his results have been sucky for the last year now.

Disappointing, it could have been a good match to watch.

Yes, but his age had nothing to do with the injury.

shite... cos i thought de voest out played seb yesterday in the 1st set... and seb played himself into form in the 2nd... robbed of perhaps the best 2nd rd clash there...

Yeah, you're correct there. He played great yesterday (Grosjean) for a player that hasn't been playing too much recently.
Murray... did nothing. He didn't have to do anything either. Easiest 2 matches for him. (Round 1 = bye, Round 2 = retirement)

heh heh... is something i am sure the british press are well aware of...

it'll read something like: 'Draw parts like Dead Sea for 'in form' Murray, walks thru'

Red Sea, no? Which is a shame because "Dead Sea Draw" sounds fucking awesome and could have been a good idiomatic addition to this place.

It is always a bad sign when a player takes a few months off with injury and then retires almost right away when he comes back with the same injury. Doesn't look too good for Grosjean.

He skipped the clay season because of his shoulder, not because of his leg.

Good post-match interview, Andy.

Not much more to say about this :)

Just hope he's not undercooked for potentially Gulbis.

I see, I don't the know the details but I did watch him retire with a leg/groin injury in Monte Carlo. He might have had shoulder problems too but it looks to me his groin is pretty weak spot also.

But it was nothing serious, while his shoulder has been bothering him for months now. I remember he already needed injections for his shoulder to be able to play in Marseille. The shoulder also forced him to pull out from Roland.

But he just changed the racquet and said yesterday his shoulder doesn't hurt anymore with that new racquet (which isn't as heavy as the old one).
