Better Chance To Win Wimbledon....Nadal or Djokovic???

Nadal has played very well on grass the last two years, including taking Federer to five sets last year in the final. On top of that, his game seems to constantly be improving. Djokovic has established himself as the premier hard court player, and the grass should play right into his hands as the aggressor. Many might even argue that these two are the co-favourites this year. I know it's a tough question, but who do you think has the better chance to win Wimbledon this year?

Why do people assume that Nadal thrashing Federer on clay means he will win on grass?

How does that follow?

When did logic become such a rare commodity around here?

At this point, I'd say Djokovic has the best chance of winning, followed very closely by Nadal. I don't think Roger is going to win it. He may not even make the final if Djokovic ends up in his half.

I'm yet to figure that out as well

I said who has the BETTER chance of winning of the two. It has NOTHING to do with Federer whatsoever. I'm a huge fan of Federer, and love his grace and poise. I think he has a fine chance as well. This is a poll between the two young guns.

I agree with the lack of reason, but save your lecture for someone deserving. Cheers!

I think we've gotten to the point where we can safely say is Rafa has a decent chance at Wimbledon without watching a single clay match.

difficult

Nadal was more than once in the final, while Nole improved considerably during the last months

if I had to pick one, it's Nadal as it's not very likely that Nole can defeat Federer and Nadal in case he is in Federer's half

You know. Grass in Wimby is becoming very, very slow. The only thing that keeps Rafa from total domination on grass, too is low bounce, since bounce in Wimby is still much lower than the on clay, but the speed is just little faster in Wimby. If they go back to speed of 90s, Rafa wouldn't have a chance, but if they keep this speed and making it even slower, Rafa will dominate Wimby too.

When was logic ever a commodity here in the first place?

Perfect timing, right? After Nadal's victory...

Neither is the co-favourite. The World #1 and 5 time consecutive Wimbledon champion is, and is obviously, the favourite.

There's a debate to be had about who is second favourite, perhaps.

nadal better chance to get to final since he has done it over last 2 years, but his game can be exploited on the grass courts much much easier

just look at the beginning of the match with nbc showing impact points for hitting forehands/backhands by federer on the red clay and grass

that is the story in a nutshell.. federer if he is playing anything like he is capable on grass should win the tournament.

Top Favourite: Federer  5 times champion.

the other one, and possible finalist, could be Djokovic. I see Nadal losing in semis.

No. Grass is slower than in the past, but it is not at all comparable to clay. To say Nadal would dominate if not for the low bounce is .

On current form and considering grass experience, between these 2 choices, I go for Nadal.

But it is Federer's tournament. He has to be the favorite over these 2 pretenders.
