Hopefully Ivan will be seeded in Halle.... draw comes out tomorrow. Also he will get a decent Wimbledon seeding because of the system they use, and if he does well in Halle, it will even be better. GOOD LUCK :wavey:

Well start Ljubo!

Ljubo beat Haase in straights. Troicki next, should make at least semis here

Yes, but Gasquet will be tough. Would be a great thing if a Ljubo-Mario final happens, Mario won it in '05 and '06 and Ljubo last year so would be great if one of them gets a title again :D

Yep,Gasquet might be tough in Wimbledon if Ivan will be in his section :wavey:

Ancic won it 2 times in a row and now Ivan should do the same.

Yep, he was very close. The Serbian qualifier was just too tough.

Tricky draw in Wimbledon, Melzer in first round, he defeated Ivan there 6-4 6-4 6-4 few years ago, I still believe this loss to Troicki was just a bad day for Ivan and I'm sure he can beat Melzer. Levine/Young are very beatable and Ivan should make the third round and there will probably be Davydenko, who will have to beat Becker and Clement in the first two rounds. Hopefully Ivan finally manages to get to the second week where he'd face most probably Mathieu or Cilic.
Ajmo :rocker2:

Melzer is kind of tricky, but it could of been a lot worse.

He will fall on ranking around #40
Hopefully he does something good before USO because it would suck if he isn't seeded there.

He will only play Umag and Beijing before USO.:retard:

No way he will be seeded, and hopefully he draws Federer in the first round there, because he deserves that with his ridiculous scheduling this summer.

Oh yes, I forgot about that. I can't blame him though, it is understandable to me that he wants to do good in Beijing. And I don't hope he draws Federer in R1 in USO.

Did you actually see the entry list for the Olympics?

He has absolutely no chance to do something big there, probably not even in doubles like 4 years ago.

But I think with missing the 2 AMS he'll actually gain some points.:haha: Those 2 will be erased from his points breakdown and they will add 2 of his best non-countable tournaments (Vienna 60,Lyon 55),so he'll win some points.:spit:

I dont think thats true. He will get O for not playing. this is only true if a player isnt accepted into a mandatory event:wavey:

:( Karlovic didnt play the clay MS in 2007 and they added some extra tournaments to his points breakdown,so I thought the same here, but yeah you're right,he couldnt have played those MS because of his ranking and Ivan can play,so he'll get 0.:o

Congrats to them both, nice news :)

On the other side,Ivan already said before when the baby comes he wants to concentrate more on his family, and his lack of tournaments this summer is just confirming that.

I think he might retire soon, maybe sometime in 2009.:sad:

He's my all time fav player and I'll be sad when he retires, but also I do think it is the time to do it now.

He is mine favourite playet too, but don't worry..He is missing tournaments because of Olimpycs..He said in the already on the start of the season that he will miss those two Masters.
This might be his last Olimpic games and he wants to win a medal again, if is possible gold.
His retirement will could be in 2009 if he will have bad results, but if he get's back on winning track he will be on tour to 2011-2012.
