If we could change it to senior tennis the title would be "Ivo Karlovic def. Rafael Nadal". Good job, Janowicz.

He will meet Yang in the final, who has been the finalist in AO this year too
Is Yang anything good? I heard he has a very big serve which is really rare for an Asian

Big servers dominating the juniors on clay? Does this suggest a future trend?

BTW. Janowicz has a WC for Warsaw ATP on clay the coming week.

for polish guys, is clay supposed to be his worst surface?
if so,this is a great achievement

This boy has the potential to be the next Lucask Kubot.

He hit 10 aces in his QF match. Should've won it in two, but couldn't get the break and finally he got broken. In this one, he hit only 3, but still managed to win in straights. Pretty good on clay for a 201 cm guy

As for the clay itself, Nathii probably told you (or you've seen it in our country), that the majority of courts are claycourts, so it shouldn't be not that surprising

yeah, i know clay predominates there, but thought that for a tall guy might be difficult. But then again we had Rosset or Ivanisevic that could do well on the surface

Indeed, Rosset's amazing backhand is not to be forgotten

Quite funny, that his chances of winning RG were bigger than Roger's

Hey Adler, did Rosset have a one handed or 2 handed BH? He seems to use both...

Good effort by Janowicz. Frankly speaking, I suspected he'd be #1 favourite for junior Wimbledon trophy and I've considered him as a clay clown even knowing it's the surface he began at.

He didn't beat anyone from the good juniors, but we need to remember our other Polish "stars" keep losing to the bad juniors as well.

His final opponent is 17 yo. and plays for Taipei, he defeated Janowicz at Aussie Open quaters this year, but Janowicz was injured then and looked forward to catch a plane for his home challenger on the next week. That Taipei guy (forgive me I can't spell his name correctly) has a big serve, so does Janowicz. I hope for our guy though.
