Based on actual performances - not ability- which opponent of either
Federer or Nadal was playing at the highest level? Second best?


1. Gonzo (who I think might be the 4th or 5th best at this tournament)
2. Julien Benneteau (watch the match, he played really well).


How about the worst and second worst?


1. Almagro (I think Deviler could have beaten the one that showed up)
2. Verdasco (I think Almagro that showed up in QF could have taken 2
sets off the Verdasco that played 4R).

Ancic wasn't bad either. But people will disregard form, look at rankings and still say that Rog has had a lucky easy path to SF/F.

Bellucci played really well for a set and a half
