You can still get tickets eachday if you get there quite early and line up. Shouldn't be a problem. I'm talking Grounds Passes here.

They seem to be pretty delayed with everything, I got my media accreditation confirmation after three weeks, lol. I'm pretty sure they're hiding some tickets down the table.

All the people who are going, feel free to post in this thread, we should meet for some boozing or whatnot.

Hi Nathii :wavey: Does this mean at last we get a chance to meet up? And - yes - you're right - they always "hide" a few tickets at Queens, and also keep a fair amount aside to be sold on the door to queuers each day :) I'm probably only going for one or two days though - will have taken too much time off for Roland Garros and Rome by then :o

Me too :) I'll definitely be there all day on the Monday as I have the day off. After that, I'll just have to try and fit in some visits after work, depending on the OOP, the weather, and my work schedule that week.

Has anyone ever been to qualies?

I might come on the Sunday, I imagine there will be some MD players practicing as well, no?

I went on the saturday last year, but on the sunday there are only the 4 final qualie round matches. And yeah, all the MD players are practicing on the outside courts.

Yes - I was there for both quallie days last year,- and you see everyone practising. It's pretty laid back and a nice atmosphere.

:nerner: Why do you think I went last year? I just couldn't bear to watch him when I could watch Dima etc practising instead :p

Anyone knows how does a press office look over there? :help:

No chance I can take my laptop and if I figured well, they don't provide any .

Free tickets are always the best :) I'll be there too - with Nole and Janko playing - how could I miss out :)

YouTube now has a Queen's tennis section and is showing what the grass courts and stands look like one month before the tournament.

Quite interesting.

You definitely should. :yeah:

No problem mate. I'm a member so you can watch the final on the TV in the members' Cafe, if you want. Last year I was constantly switching between the RG final and the practise courts. Some of the players, like the Bryans, were practising and wanted to be kept up-to-date with the Fed-Nadal score. That's where I came in.

Hope to see you there too. :yeah:
I know they temporarily refurbish the squash courts each year for the tournament. I think that's where they put the press office but I'm not sure.

Indeed, and I think we were both at the same practise court but we didn't recognise eachother. Hopefully we can rectify that this year. :yeah:

Ah nice, thanks mate :hatoff:

Just realised I've got next Saturday off work, thinking about coming on the Saturday instead of the Sunday.....I don't need tickets or anything do I? Any idea what the numbers are usually like?

I haven't been on Saturday but I'm sure it won't be crowded. I have no idea about prices of tickets but they certainly won't be sold out if you just turn up on the day. It might be free entry on Saturday.

You have to work on Sundays? That's harsh.

Nah I don't work on Sunday, I usually have to work Saturday's but I've got it off next week. I figured I may as well go on the Saturday over the Sunday though.

Thanks for the info :yeah:

Hi Adam :wavey: Am just back from RG and catching up with this thread. As far as I can remember from last year, entry to Queens quallies was free, and if you get there about half an hour before play begins, you won't have any trouble getting in :) Hope you are well  Last year, there is nothing open though - no Bars, cafes or sandwich places - so bring your own water and food :)

Hi!

What time would you recommend to turn up for the ground passes? 8am, 9am, 10am?

Thanks in advance. :)

according to the site, it'll cost £60 to get in 2moro for this, is that right, seems a bit exspensive! i've never been to a tennis game/day is that what it costs to watch tennis then? ?
