Fat Dahveed has decided to play Queen's this year:

Nalbandian to make Queen's debut

World number seven and 2002 Wimbledon finalist David Nalbandian will make his first appearance at the Artois Championships at Queen's Club in June.

The Argentine has joined a strong field that includes Andy Murray, world number two Rafael Nadal and Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic.

Both defending champion Andy Roddick and Australian Lleyton Hewitt will be aiming for a record fifth title.

The grass-court tournament, which is in its 30th year, begins on 9 June.

"I have never been to Queen's before, but everyone told me that it is a good tournament," said Nalbandian. "I am looking forward to being there.

Good list. Wonder who will get the wildcards? Probably Baker (if he has recovered and can give the grascourt season ago) and Boggy. Hope Mahut can do well again here this year too.

Surbiton is a Challenger. You cannot get a special exempt into ATP-level events by winning a Challenger.

And yes, I would expect him to go to Halle. I think he has some ties to the tennis club there, no? At least, he plays there every year if I am not mistaken.

Final WC is likely to go to Jamie Murray, given that he has requested one (and also for Wimbledon)

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/tennis/article-1022034/Make-single--Jamie-Murray-looks-SW19-own.htmlThat article states that Murray is unlikely to get a wild card to QC, but is being considered for one at Wimbledon:Murray admitted, however, that this is not part of a wider plan to restart a singles career that has lain dormant since March 2006 when he decided he would have more of a future in the sport if he concentrated on doubles.

For that reason there is virtually no chance he would get the one remaining wildcard for Queen’s, but Wimbledon has eight wildcard slots for each singles event and, although the situation among British women has seen improvement, the men are not exactly queueing up to take theirs.

"We look at every wildcard request on its merits and will consider this in due course," said a Wimbledon spokesman last night.

...

Paul Hutchins, the LTA’s head of men’s national training, said: "Jamie is entitled to ask for a wildcard and I’ve got nothing against that, but I cannot recommend him for one because it has to be my job to promote players who are committed to playing singles. It’s a matter for Wimbledon."

Is Jamie any good in singles? :confused:Career high ranking: #834

Career high ranking: #834

Given that his surname is Murray, I wouldn't be surprised if he got one, even for Queen's.

Thank goodness the LTA have shown some sense is not recommending he gets a WC for Wimbledon, but I'm expecting him to get one really
