Underachievers contest. At least Malisse has had more health issues.

Marat will probably leave himself exposed while oogling over the Queen, while Malisse will be busy trying to take some of his pawns. :o

I think the opening is going to be a King's Indian Defense: Orthodox Variation. Glek Defense.

Malisse will extract a technical win in a complicated ending. :p Translation: Malisse in 3.

Who knows, Safin was playing pretty decent recently when he had a brainfart against Haase.

Safin got a much bigger issue: brain damage.

Never stopped him from winning a couple of slams.

When was tha last time that happened?

Burrow
04-21-2008, 04:45 PM
Typical response.

Don't you know in 2005 he suffered a serious knee injury in the clay court season and played throughout and aggrevated it further, when he had to stop after Cincy? It left him with chronic tenditinitis. Just recently he has said that he has been playing without pain.

So take your shit elsewhere.

Read my signature, you come under this category for people who ignore the fact a player has suffered a serious injury.

Blah blah blah, let's see him winning 2 matches in a row first, fanboy.

Burrow

Did I say he was going to win another slam?

You are just another retard who thinks injury means nothing "Yeah why the fuck Kuerten play shit today man, where the hell Philippoussis? And Magnus Norman, Safin shit too"

You wouldn't be saying all of this shit if you got injured yourself, you obviously have never played a sport, nevermind been injured and had to rehabilitate and recover.

Basically you are saying Safin came from number 3 in the world to where he is now due to nothing but mentality, or maybe it was because he was out for months injured and when he retured he was in pain? No?

Wow... :retard:

nateyang

Did I say mentality is his only problem, fanboy? Or you're the one jumping on everyone's throat?

Whatever you said, the injury was in 2005. This is 2008. It's safe to say it's more than injury that took him to where he's today.

Burrow
04-21-2008, 09:06 PM
Why? He has lost his mobility over it, which he can't seem to get back. He has always been a headcase, even more so back in the day, but you are obviously new to tennis and don't know this.

Whatever you said, dude. Until he gets some result, I don't see anything wrong with my comments.

You, on the other hand, accused me of something I don't even know I did.

What's wrong with this ?

When was tha last time that happened?

Did I discredit him of his achievements? No, I'm simply stated the fact that he's not the player he once was

The last slam is won is 2005, for God sake. And he hasn't won 2 matches in a row since last year.

And then you went to dumped all this crap on me:

Typical response.

Did I refuse to acknowledge that he had been injured or the fact that his injury is a liability to his poor result?

No, it's just you and your fanboyism thought I did. You're the one who's jumping throat and putting words in people's mouth:

What's wrong with saying they're playing badly when they are actually playing badly? You bewildered me. You act like just because he's injured, he should be exempted for murder.

Injury is no stranger to players. Haas, Kiefer, JCF, etc. Heck, Monica Seles even got stabbed in the back. They have all been injured, but at least they still got their heart in the game and pull something, albeit small, together. Seles even won a slam after the incident. Safin, on the other hand, got his head buried in the injury. I think it's time for Safin to know that patience is a virtue and you to read carefully before replying.

Well, Safin did come back from #86 to #4 in 2004 after his first serious injury. He couldn't do this trick twice in a row but not many players would do it either

But how many have those players have suffered an injury which has taken its toll on their mobility?

Yes Safin is playing bad, for his standards, but the main cause is the injury in 2005 which has hurt him physically, taken away his agility and it has hurt his confidence, hugely. Mentally he seems better than ever, he has matured. You are just a hater and are trying to say he lost his number 3 rank for nothing. I mean, he couldn't play the whole indoor season in 2005, 1000 points lost. Some points off at the TMC too, 1000 more points off in Australia...Why wasn't he able to play these? uh...Injury? Why can't he move as well now? Injury? Why has he complaining that he has been playing in pain since his return and has had to take painkillers before each match for the tendinitis? Injury.

All of his tournament money from 2008. (Yes, I am still poor and won't make me much richer)
