Nice tournament stint from Harrison beating a clay-court specialist merely at the age of 15.

Not bad at all from Harrison, but clearly his second serve is not ATP level yet

The Ryan Harrison era.

It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

I raise my glass to you Ryan. You were a scholar and a gentleman...

The Spaniards are getting very nervous now with Blake in the quarters of the premier clay court event in the world.

All,

LOL!

I will bet big money that Andy and James (Mardy) will play better this clay season. I said a couple a years ago that the stuff ain't that hard! They just have to believe and IMPROVE. James swept the floor with Kuebek this year on the clay. And Andy did his thing against Metzer - and then them kool dudes flew the coop and jetted. They let the others play the last two singles.

There is nothing to it but to do it. I'm saying right now that James probably caught a case of the -"I can play on clay" jones after he dismissed the clay court specialist in Kuebek in Austria. LOL!

We'll see said the blind man's bluff.

None of those players have any patience to play consistently well on clay.

All,

Again, they held their own earlier this year to beat two good 'uns.

All,

*EDIT: Sorry, I got my posts mixed up. LOL!

Oh and um - the clay they had to play on was reported to be the worst ever laid down. After every game - it had to be attended to and repaired for the most part. LOL!

What kind of clay was that?

All,

We'll see. This is the year of upsets and astonishments. I could care less whether or not anyone agrees with me. I feel the Americans can go further than they have in the past.

Friendly advise: Don't bet money on it. :help: It depends on the prices you get though. Just saying that if James draws, say, Vassalo-Arguello at RG on R1 and is given as 1.4:1 favourite, it wouldn't be the most rational decision in the world to back him.

Aggresive baseliner.

S/V on occasion.

Needs to improve 2nd serve.

Big potential.

He let Blake win cause he didn't want to make a fun of Calleri beating him after saving 13 MP.

I agree. Ryan won some games. It wasn't a blowout win for Blake. It's not like it was a 6-1, 6-0 victory. It proves that Ryan knows how to win games against a bigger player. Plus, the kid is 15 years old. I think his results are impressive. Time is definitely on Ryan's side. He's so cute too.
