Rameez Junaid Rocks!scotthongkong 04-12-2008, 10:26 AM I could not see a thread for Rameez so here it is! scotthongkong 04-12-2008, 10:28 AM Rameez has made the main draw for next weeks Busan Challenger in Korea. It is a 75k event so lots of points and money on offer. Go Rameez! azza 04-12-2008, 11:30 PM Yer go Rameez!! shit draw though scotthongkong 04-20-2008, 12:55 PM Great work getting to the doubles final with our Adam! azza 06-20-2008, 10:26 AM Rameez is in a QF of a 30K Challenger :) get him closer to that top 300 mark azza 06-21-2008, 02:33 AM Wow! Junaid won his QF 6-7(7) 6-3 7-5 Now in SF and he has 24 pts! :) scotthongkong 06-21-2008, 09:19 AM Keep it going for us Rameez! I am still depressed about Alun Jones! azza 06-22-2008, 01:12 AM Rameez lost in the SF 6-2 2-6 1-6  but very good tournie hel go from 380 to bout 315 :) so close to top 300 this ranking of 315 shud get him entry into some low challengers :) scotthongkong 06-22-2008, 04:25 AM Good week for him. Nice to see his ranking rise! azza 06-23-2008, 07:34 AM His at 313 not playng this week goodluck Rameez! :) scotthongkong 07-01-2008, 09:41 AM Or this week it seems! I hope he did not suffer an injury. Build that momentum and that ranking. I reckon that Rameez has a great future! scotthongkong 11-25-2008, 02:10 AM Nice first up win in the Toyota tournament over T.Chen 6/3 6/7 6/3. Keep it up Rameez! azza 04-13-2009, 07:24 AM hey guys Rameez has won a doubles title at the Athens challenger and that moved him up 7 places to *100* wow he crackes the top 100 in doubles :) well done Audacity 04-13-2009, 08:45 AM Great work Rameez. jmf07 04-13-2009, 01:13 PM Great work Rameez. Aussies have been doing very well in the doubles lately with Hanley reaching the Casablanca final and Fisher/Huss reaching the Miami final. jmf07 05-31-2009, 02:58 PM Rameez won another challenger with Marx in the doubles. Shame though as they should have been in the FO main draw if Bjorn Phau had decided he was going to withdraw earlier on and by the looks of it they would have been in form as well. jmf07 06-26-2009, 06:37 AM Junaid with his partner Marx won their first round in the Wimbledon doubles. Junaid is now fully focused towards doubles with his singles ranking slipping outside the top 500. Smart move though given the success he has had in doubles and this is reflected by him being inside the top 100. Hopefully he can keep it up. scotthongkong 06-27-2009, 01:37 AM Thta is a really good decision I think. Good luck to Rameez and Phillip for further success. jmf07 07-07-2009, 01:57 AM Junaid is still playing the singles Qualy draws of the difficult challengers. Qualified for the MD and then knocked out Rosol in the first round of a Dutch Treton Serie Challenger tournament. Unfortunately he has almost no chance in the second round against Gonzalez or Sluiter. Should give him a boost before the doubles though. Audacity 07-07-2009, 04:20 AM Good luck in the doubles mate. jmf07 11-18-2009, 01:45 AM  Junaid defeated Istomin azza 11-19-2009, 09:32 PM R2 Junaid Def Brown 6-7(5) 7-6(5) 6-2 jmf07 11-19-2009, 11:27 PM That is another terrific result given that Brown has made the last two finals of the challengers he has played in. azza 11-22-2009, 11:46 PM Hrbaty Def Junaid 6-1 3-6 7-6(4) pretty good job for the journyman against Hrbaty jmf07 12-03-2009, 12:59 PM Rameez keeps up the brilliant tennis with a straight sets win over world number 99 Kubot who has been playing some good tennis himself lately. jmf07 12-04-2009, 12:08 AM Lost to Bohli 62 62 ozfan44 12-04-2009, 04:44 AM Bugger, but some impressive wins of late!! jmf07 03-10-2010, 12:39 PM After winning a couple of AMT's Rameez has gone to Kyoto and won through the first round against King-Turner. He's in a nice quarter and in form. Might be able to do something at this challenger. jmf07 03-13-2010, 12:51 AM Fantastic week for Rameez to make it into the semis. I wonder if he will be focusing on singles or doubles this year. Ilovetheblues_86 03-13-2010, 12:53 AM Rameeeeez!!! jmf07 05-02-2010, 02:02 AM Rameez is playing the qualies of the BMW Open in Munich. Impressive 64 62 win over Dustov in the first round and now plays Reister in the second round. Hewitt2010 05-02-2010, 10:21 AM Would be good if he could win, good luck to Rameez. jmf07 05-12-2010, 09:57 AM Rameez is playing in the 100k Busan Challeger where he is into the QF. The highest ranked player remaining in his half is Alexander Peya who is ranked 225 which is very weak for a 75k challenger. Edit: Peya lost to Jun Hewitt2010 05-12-2010, 11:20 AM Well done hope he can win atleast one more match good luck to Rameez. jmf07 05-15-2010, 02:50 AM Rammez lost to Korean Wildcard Woong Sun Jun 63 26 67(6). Jun had steadily climbed to a ranking of 230 until a disastrous 2009 so it's probably not that bad of a result although Rameez still would have been confident of winning. In better news for Rameez he made the doubles final with Alexander Peya. raahaat7 06-14-2010, 03:14 PM Rameez has qualified for d main draw of Ordina Open. He beat Rajiv Ram in the final qualifying round. raahaat7 06-14-2010, 03:22 PM lost to D.Brands. This was his first A.T.P tour main draw match. | |
