Wimbledon - Mens Final Tickets: For Sale

I hope nobody minds me posting this here.

I am from a brand new UK based charity, OCD-UK which is helping to raise awareness of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and helping to support those that suffer from it.

We have been kindly given two tickets for this years final, the idea being that we sell them on to raise much needed funds. The face value is £1,200 each and also come with lounge passes for the exclusive Debenture Lounge.

If anybody is UK based and looking for tickets for the final on Sunday then please get in touch with a sensible offer. We are holding onto the tickets until Thursday in the hope we can get close to their real worth.

Registered Charity Number: 1103210

Enjoy your tennis folks

Come on Tim :)

But they come with Lounge Passes for the Debenture Lounge, whatever this is. If I had the money I would be gladly take those.

I am told these are for the executive box's and that is why they are so expensive.

I have already had a few ticket touts offer me upto £1500 for them.

That is why I am posting here really, I would rather let them go to a tennis fan than a ticket tout.

Regards,

Sorry Ashley, I don't mean to deter people from bidding for these, just wanted to point out that all seats on Centre (and any other court) are nominally the same price.

Having said that though, debenture seats are usually very good ones (we plebs mostly get the back five rows if we ever get anything from the ticket draw), and they do indeed command excellent prices, sometimes even higher than those you are suggesting.

I hope you do get some takers - it's a good cause. I would be tempted if I could afford it ;)

Yeah, the price can be seen as good, considering I've seen 2 standard £75 tickets selling on auction for £2000!

Good luck with raising a good price Ashley- the charity seems very worthwhile. :)

Conans Uncle Ted believes a wimbledons mens final is a once of in a lifetime experience & tickets are goldust and if not on a state pension would make a bid himself !!!

Thank you all for your good luck messages, must admit if I was able to afford it myself I would love to go.

Just an update on this, we sold the tickets today for £2550 to an American lady.

Her and her husband are flying over tomorrow especially for the tennis so I am chuffed that they will go to real tennis fans and the money will allow me to get over 1000 leaflets or posters printed that I will be sending to schools and Uni's to raise awareness of OCD.

On another note I am not a tennis fan but I was intruiged by the two womens semi-finals today, seemed to be two amazing match's.

we should be able to get tickets easier than having to pay hundreds/thousands for them

Well I am sure that is true, but in this case the money is going to a good cause that will hopefully help a lot of young adults and may help change someones life for the better so in that respect £2550 is a small price to pay.
