No, this is not something TF dreamt up. Those words were actually uttered by Jimmy Roberts :D

Who would have thunk it: 3 hours of coverage with Fed and Ivo, Hewitt and Moya!

Who bribed the tournament sponsors in putting Roddick 3rd so that American television wouldn't show him

To whomever it was (Elton John???) I say :worship:

Okay, so this is a weekday morning when no one but housewives and a (temporarily unemployed) TF are watching...

Thanks NBC :yeah:

It'll be on ESPN, taped of course...

lol TF...

well, i dont get it, will ESPN show the match then--delayed? I assumed NBC would show the match and then of course they wouldnt have enough time to finish since Days of Our lives is soo important, thus ESPN would pick-up from there... oh well,

i enjoy watching live scores anyway--less stress

Good! I'm taping ESPN anyways, where the Roddick match will be shown.

Gooooo Tim! You gotta beat the Flipper. :bounce:

Too bad Marat had to crash out in the first round, otherwise maybe we'd be seeing some of his matches, right TF? *rub, rub* ;)

Well, NBC coverage just ended as Flip was getting drummed by Henman in the first, but I have to :clap2: the quality coverage, the best coverage since uh, the US Open...but nothing like HBO's all-day live tennis coverage of yesteryear...

And not even a shot of Roddick's face...

Haha... HBO coverage was simply splendorful. I remember I was forced to take these swim classes taught by this evil like, war vet or something. He was so mean, and I was so young and I would cry everyday, and then come home to HBO coverage of Wimbly--it was therapeutic. HBO coverage was absolutely heavenly

and for the anti-Ducks, Roddick didnt exist during the reign of HBO, pre-Roddick, he was still in his diapers...

NBC continues the live coverage in West coast so in PT regiion, NBC showed Roddick vs Popp and now, Henman vs Flip while my scheduled coverage by ESPN turned out to be poker

Hmmmm my tv came with a remote control. Oddly enough, it lets me change the channel and turn the power off if there's something I don't want to watch. I feel so badly for you all if your TVs didn't come with such a lovely feature

unfortunately there is not another channel with TENNIS coverage in most cases. you know, a channel where you can see the OTHER players who exist on the tour. you know, the other MATCHES that are being played in the current tournament. your remote control becomes useless when the only tennis option is the fucking Duck. get it? :wavey:

so happy to hear that ESPN may finally be clueing in to the fact that the overexposure of the Duck is not exactly paying dividends, if you know what i mean.

I feel bad for all those NBC viewers not the East coast. :o NBC should just have their coverage at the same time in every timezone.

It's not that bad as NBC continues live when coverage started in the west. I have the last part of Roddick match and afterward, Henman match. I was pretty surprised when I turned on my TV and recognised it's LIVE instead of taped as on the TV guide.
