well for me it doesn't matter which one he wins, he reached in all GS the SF so he has a good change to win at least one...

but think if David was allowed to choise which one he would win, I think he would go for Wimbly

I think David is most likely to win the Australian Open - it is on a surface that suits him, and takes place at the beginning of the year before injuries and tiredness take their toll (hopefully). Roland Garros would be another good possibility.

yes we need that a david with less injuries! So maybe he has the best change of winning the Australian open..but Wimbly would be so nice..

Coria will get over himself when David does. Anyway, I agree with Rosie. David will win the Aussie Open first, which of course, is fitting. :o

If hes going to win any I think it will be Wimbledon. I feel he certainly win at least one Grand Slam in his career as well.

i think his first will be the AO, though i prefer he can win Wimbly first. But who cares, just as Jazz said, he has big chance in everyone of the four GS:bounce:
i will love anyone of them, no matter which one david will win.:)

hehe i agree its more difficult to be #1, but david is still young and he's very talented and i think that in 2 or 3 years he will be ready to become number 1. i think he will be able to take over federer and roddick, when the time will come.

He has the ability, and natural talent to win them all. God help us if more injuries get in the way :o  Right now i have turned all my focus on Federer beating Hewitt. I cant stand that punk!!! :fiery: He must lose. He beat Goran to, when Goran was 1 win away from 600.

Despite the fact that he is already a Wimby runner-up, I suppose he will win US Open first. I can't forget the 1/2 match against Roddick last year in US Open, in which David displayed a formidable game on hardcourt.

I think maybe Aussie open first. US open is too soon. I don't know whether he will completely recover from injury. Hopely he will have a good status next year. And anyway, he deserve a champion in Wimbledon.

I don't care which one , as long as he wins a Slam at some point.

I do agree with most of you that David WILL win a GS one day. When and which one now ? Potentially, I think he can win any of the 4, and yes, starting with the Aussie in 2005 would be just fine... :woohoo: :rolls:

I always think David's achievement in tennis doesn't match his talent and performance. It's unbelievable that he hasn't got a champion since 2002. But once he gets one, especially a champion of GS, the barrier will be broken and disappear, which can add his confidence. And he will get the second, third GS champion very soon. :D
It's also a nice process of waiting his first GS and this exciting moment, and i feel it's closer and closer yet. ;)

If he would have been fit, I think you're right. I'm mean, he did it in Houston and it's the same surface, right? But he was injured and he said that even if he would have won that match, he doesn't think he could have played in the final because of the wrist and the abs.

I think he would've given it a shot. Hell, it was a grand slam; he would've done what he needed to do. I think he would've pulled out a win, and proved that he could master the big occasion.

That would be perfect,gravity!!
But i have to say that will be very very dificult...but possible,he has what it takes to do it!

But what i really want right now,is for him to win something, even if is not a grand slam..just to win something,he needs confidence..
Right now that would do,and i would be celebrating as if it was a slam!!

I voted for Australian Open as I think it will be the first one he will win, but I agree that he is a genuine contender at all four of them. 2005 should hopefully be a good year for him. :)

David has no less talent than any top player but with this negative attitude of his, I'm not sure he'll win any Slam. Of course he's still young and has a long career ahead of him but there are younger talents emerging all the time. I might be wrong and I don't want to offend anybody but to me he used to look determined, focused kind of slow and quiet when he had all the success getting into the 2 Slam finals but now he's started to look the arrogant, negative exaggerated macho kind of slow and quiet that doesn't help in big occasions.

Thanks for the good news ;) I actually hope he wins the US Open, no, not because I actually like that tournement, but because I would have a great chance of seeing him play; I have only slim chances with the other slams.

hmmm...if he were to win a slam, which at this stage looks like a long shot thanks to a certain mr federer, i'd say the US open

in 2003 he really had a chance, he should have beaten roddick and hopefully he won't regret his inability to put him away that day
