I think Ferrero will be defending a great deal of points at the US Open wont he? Which means he certainly needs to improve big time in the coming months! He also has a Masters title and a few semis and finals which he needs to live up to.

Yeah, he's got USO & Bangkok finals and the title at the Madrid Masters to defend. Hopefully he will be ready for the final grandslam of the year.
