There was to be no fairytale return for Murray as Monfils ran out a 75 63 winner.

Monfils did not drop a set all week

i would really like to see this guy play, have any of you seen him?

This is really dissapointing -there just seems to be no hope for the future of British tennis. I don't know much about Monfils, bar the general thinking that he's France's latest teenage prodigy, and could be eclipsing Gasquet soon in that role.

baseline from what i hear monfils is dominating the juniors, won the australian and french with only 1 set loss. and has only lost one match this year! won the bournemouth future and beat bogdanovic i think. i really want to see him play, i wonder how he will fair in the mens game. he lost in the french qulifying 3 and 3 to kendrick. hes 6.4 and apparently serves over 135 mph
