Who is going?

I might go to the tournament on Monday because I'll be in Zagreb, but I checked the website and it's looking like a total mess with the matches being played at two different venues and the main draw players training at two other places...
I don't know Zagreb at all, are all these places close to each other? And does anybody know if the venues where the main draw players will practice are open to the public too?

The website says the matches will take place in Dom odbojke (volleyball hall) and on the Center court 2 of Dom sportova, while the main draw players will have to practice in indoor sports arena Martinovka and in the National Tennis Center.

*bump*
So many Croats on this board and nobody can tell me where all these places are and which ones are accessible? It's a bit confusing with 4 different venues when you don't know Zagreb...

I will be there from Wednesday till the tournament ends!

Main Draw matches on Monday will be played in Dom Sportova Arena 2 (I suppose you know where is the main court) and Dom odbojke.
On Tuesday and so on,all matches will be played on the centre court (excpet few singles matches and doubles will be probably played a lot in the Court 2-but it's in the same complex).

As you said, maybe some players will train at the National Tennis center, which isnt that close to Dom Sportova.

I'm not at the tournament. I'm umpiring National junior championships in the chair and next weekend another tournament. It's better to umpire 3 matches in the chair than 8 matches on the line.

Thanks, TFC, so this Dom odbojke thing is in the same complex as Dom sportova, only the practice courts are far? It's not too bad then.

Thanks, I've found it now, it's indeed a completely different part of Zagreb. ^^
How convenient to have the venues spread out all over the city...

Yes, but it was just unlucky situation with handball champions league, it was not planned at all.

From Tuesday on I think that all the matches will be played in Dom sportova, big hall and smaller one.

If you need any additional info just send me pm or post here. I will be there every day from 10.00 until the very end.

Sorry for the misunderstood,I mean the Court 1 is in the same complex as Dom Sportova (the little gym),and as you already know,Dom odbojke is far from there.
But all singles matches tomorrow are on Court 1,so you dont have to go to Dom odbojke.:)

I will be for a couple of days in Croatia this week and I am planning to spend one or more evenings in Dom Sportova. Can not find in tournament website ticket information. Should be possible to go directly to Dom Sportova and buy tickets during event? What are approx. prices?

Thanks a lot for the answers, I'm just seeing them now because I had no Internet here in Zagreb. I've whined quite a lot in this thread :p, so I just wanted to say it is indeed really not that bad, with all the singles matches taking place at the same venue today, and the training court is very close to the players hotel and completely open to the public, so I could see the players I wanted to see. The people at the players hotel are VERY helpful for this kind of informations. And Zagreb is great, so I'm actually really enjoying my time here.
