Bolelli is not the best returner of the world but the stat is pretty impressive.
I just saw the second set and it was a very good Richard. Next steps are more dangerous but he is one of the main contenders for the title.

17 aces for such a short match is quite an achievement

Saw the match, it wasn't great, but Richard played really well and consistent, which should make his fans pleased and optimistic

Good match from Gasquet and those serving stats are very impressive, I think that's about two aces per game.

Gasquet was very good at service department, and he only had to wait to feed off Bolelli´s brainless play and countless easy ue´s. Disgusting from Simone :o

17 aces of 29 first serves in is awesome, kinda usual for a really monster server like Karlovic,Pim Pim or Ljubicic

From the few matches I have seen of Bolelli, this seems to be his usual approach. :p  Has a lot of potential, but needs to get his brain checked, first.

He will always make errors with his game but I´ve seen him play a lot calmer and not that brainless. But yes, he needs to learn many things yet to become a better player

Although he can play well on clay, his game is better suited for fast venues, next time ask someone who knows before posting bullshit as usual, lerdo :D

Why? Soderling has not played a tournament since summer last year with wrist injury. Last year he was coming in hot after couple good DC wins and beating couple good players before 1/4 finals. This is completely different situation.

Pessimist

No,just realist.
Paradoxally, despite the fact he is better ranked now,Richard's level of play has decreased since 1 year in my opinion.
I'm less and less fan of the player he has become.

Lot of aces for Gasquet there. He is also probably relieved at Tsonga's early exit too.

Simo being slow and thoughtless on return as usual. He's not going anywhere fast.

Well done Richie though.
