Boy, I'll say. Unfortunate for both of them.

Thank you for posting about Decoud- I hadn't heard word one about him before now. :hatoff:

It is surprising but not a total fluke because Decoud's results in qualifying looked pretty good. Looking a his results he seems to be very inconsistent over a full season, that's why he is ranked so low, but he did win a challenger in Romania in the middle of 2007.

Good parties in Brazil without a doubt, how many players play well coming straight from Davis Cup.

A little video that I recorded from Seba Decoud during his match against Berlocq in Sao Paulo challenger, played in January. He lost 3-6 6-2 4-6 in that match and was close to mae an upset :wavey:

Decoud did what Marrero was able to do at Vina Del Mar 2 weeks ago, mark his first ever ATP level match with a victory.

no surprise. acasuso is one of the worst headcases on tour and highly overrated on this forum. but i've told the same hundreds of time already.

Decoud is not very uhm threatening, so I guess Acasuso self-destructed.

I saw him last year, he wasn't very impressive. Looked like weak challenger level to me.

Decoud won the Constanta challenger title last June/July, but other than that his challenger results haven't been that impressive at all.
Still it's a great moment for him to finally play in an ATP tournament, and to win a match as well.
