Swiss veteran upsets overrated Dutch youngster.

:clap2: George

First win of the season for him, after bad losses against A. Martín (on hard), Elgin and Stoppini.

Lately? This was the first disapointing loss of the season.

I happen to think that credits are due to the one that deserves them - whenever, whatever.

No problem, Bastl's biggest win since Sampras in 2002. :worship: :haha:

I guess - I was a bit disappointed he went down to Grosjean in Australia, albeit that was in 5 and he did send out Ljubicic.

This one is a bit of a surprise though.

He defeated Spadea and Bolelli last year. I know he is not doing too well, but you can exaggerate as well ;)

To me, this is his third disappointing loss this season (Grosjean, Santoro in Bergamo Challenger and now this).

It's make or break this year for Haase and the cracks are there already.

Bastl has a big serve indoors. No surprise.

Thanks allways nice to get some recognition....but at least I am SUPPORTING someone instead of creating a thread when a fellow countryman losses a match.

It is a bad loss, didn't expect robin to lose matches like this after his good start of the season. This overrated player d. berdman baggy and ljubo.

But he hasn't got many points to lose the first half year. He need around 50p to get an direct entry for the first time in a GS

If you just saw Bastl choking to Elgin in Wrocław.... pain to watch :o And we cheered him so much :o:o

I would not have started this thread if I didn't think it was a surprising loss. It has nothing to do with him being Dutch, as I support plenty of Dutch players :wavey:

A surprising loss it certainly was.
