Just keep winning ugly Piquito if it gets you the title. ;) He hasn't played on clay for a while and needs to regain his footing.

seriously.

And to think that, not long ago, after a picture of his was posted in that very same GM, someone was asking who the hell that guy was. MTF is such a funny place.

Very nice win there. And I can't understand why he's 'unconventially good looking' according to GM. He's gorgeous, thats it.

Very nice win there. And I can't understand why he's 'unconventially good looking' according to GM. He's gorgeous, thats it.

I think I might have said something like that too. If you look at him, he doesn't have a strong jawline and full lips, and his cheekbones are pretty high and wide set. That doesn't bother me because I find everything about Juan sexy (especially his hair and smile ), but typically those features are considered less than perfect by society's unrealistic standards.

I don't necessarily think you need to look a certain way to be handsome or attractive.

And about this week, I'm really proud of Pico. It wasn't smooth sailing all along, but he's made it to the final and is just one win away from title number 4. I think that's really impressive when you consider he started 2007 still looking for his first title.

Hopefully he will recover soon, points to defend & all.

This is horrible news. I think he would have taken the title if he had played the final, so yeah this sucks. I just hope it doesn't put him out of action for too long.

Poor, poor Juan :(. This is so unfortunate! He was playing so well and now this setback :(. According to LaNacion Juan will miss Davis Cup and probably ATP Buenos Aires as well.

Get well soon Juan!

Poor Pico. Hope the injury doesn't turn out as serious as the rumours say. Some sources talk about a bad sprain and let's hope this is true and not the torn ligament...

Hey good news! Normally 3 to 4 weeks to recover but with intensive treatment some hope he might be able to defend BsAs! I suspect that's a little overly optimistic but still, 4 weeks is a lot better than 5 months. On the other hand I hope he doesn't try too hard to come back before he's ready, this is such a sucky time for him to get hurt, not that any time is good but this especially bad.
