Last ATP match for Guillermo was back in August 2006, will he finally get his serve and game back? Will he able to beat current number 114?

well the outcome depend on How well -or How bad lol- Coria serves

According to someone (reliable source? :lol:), Guillermo has been playing stunning tennis in practice, you wouldn't guess that he'd been sidelined for so long. But matches are an entirely different scenario.

If he can get his serve to land in the box consistently, then naturally he's the favourite.

Articles (with quotes from Coria) have also said that Coria usually plays well in practice but that he can't perform at all in matches.

This is actually kinda a tough draw for Coria, Cuevas although ranked 114 can actually play.

I'm sure, even when he was hitting all those DFs, he was never doing it in practise. It's a mental problem with Coria and he needs to feel more relaxed playing official ATP maches. If this event were still Round Robin, I would fancy his chances a little better.

Unfortunately, Coria will make lots of double faults, get frustrated and retire before finishing the match. At least, that's pretty much what happened when he played some challengers a few months ago.

Coria can be a bit of a punk, but when he's playing well, he's great to watch. Hopefully he can win this match and pick up some confidence.

That's said, I voted for Cuevas by retirement :rolleyes:

Coria could break Cuevas' serve 4 times. Before taking the long break, Coria's overall game was still decent except for the serve.
