what will happen to novak and you guys
what if tsonga wins?ugotlobbed 01-25-2008, 11:05 AM what will happen to novak and you guys tennis2tennis 01-25-2008, 11:07 AM what will happen to novak and you guys I'd love for tsonga to win...it'd be the best thing to happen to tennis for a long time...injury prone star playing only his 5th grands slam comes out of no were and win it! Exodus 01-25-2008, 11:11 AM joker will never ever win a slam as he's in his prime right now. Jelena 01-25-2008, 11:12 AM what will happen to novak and you guys They will continue playing tennis, and I will continue watching tennis. Renaud 01-25-2008, 11:13 AM what will happen to novak and you guys If Tsonga wins, i guess Djokovic will lose. tripb19 01-25-2008, 11:13 AM It has to happen. It's destiny. Deivid23 01-25-2008, 11:13 AM He will probably lift the cup but what do I know Mĺnu 01-25-2008, 11:15 AM Maybe he'll have a chance to do a music career after tennis :), that's what the only French who won a slam in the Open-era is doing Scotso 01-25-2008, 11:17 AM He'll have a nice trophy? You seriously need to get over it. Go to bed. MissMelly2U 01-25-2008, 11:17 AM If Jowili wins, that will be tough luck for Nole. He has made it to the semifinals of the last 4, and the finals of the last 2. It's about time that he had his breakthrough win. If Tsonga were to come basically from out of nowhere and take this title it would be a little heartwrenching, especially if Nole has his chances like he did in the US Open final against Fed. I kinda want Tsonga to take it because I am on his fanwagon now, but I will still feel bad if that happens. Unlike some people, I like Novak. Jaffas85 01-25-2008, 11:21 AM If Tsonga wins Sunday he will be #9 in the world and he'll have nothing to defend at all of the Masters Series events (except Paris where he just has 75 points to defend) and nothing to defend at the French Open. Most of his "best of 5" points are now from challengers he has won so if he does well in Rotterdam, Dubai and Marseille (as well as the Masters series) he could potentially be as high as #4 or #5 by the start of Wimbledon. Cat123 01-25-2008, 11:21 AM Novak will win. I have faith. I pegged him to win from the start before I even knew the draws. He's ranked 35 places above Tsonga for a reason. I think his choke in the USO final has taught him a great lesson about keeping his nerve. He's been there before, JW hasn't. I think that will count for a hell of a lot. Exodus 01-25-2008, 11:25 AM joker will become THE JOKER in DC comics :haha::haha: anousleshommes@h 01-25-2008, 11:26 AM I think it's fair to say JW Tsonga might win it, especially if he brings his A game, he's untouchable. However I would feel a lot for Djokovic, a VERY NICE CHAP, who has just put out of his misery a tired old federer. ugotlobbed 01-25-2008, 11:27 AM djokovic deserves a GS no doubt, but i really want tsonga to win bc of his personality and his flare, i want the french to have something to cheer for, im a big fan of the french Jelena 01-25-2008, 11:27 AM I think it's fair to say JW Tsonga might win it, especially if he brings his A game, he's untouchable. My thoughts exactly. anousleshommes@h 01-25-2008, 11:34 AM djokovic deserves a GS no doubt, but i really want tsonga to win bc of his personality and his flare, i want the french to have something to cheer for, im a big fan of the french aw me too. DJOKO IS A GR8 CHAP THO ugotlobbed 01-25-2008, 11:36 AM aw me too. DJOKO IS A GR8 CHAP THO djokovic is like a lot of eastern euros that ive met, friendly and jokes all the time, but when it comes down its every man for themselves, i think its cuz theyve been through a great deal of turmoil in their histories, but i respect that asher_langley 01-25-2008, 11:40 AM Tsonga will gain a lot of respect, appreciation and admiration...along with the pressure to keep it going and prove to everyone that he's not a one-shot wonder. As for me, I don't know, maybe I'll go 'Allez, Ali!' :P anousleshommes@h 01-25-2008, 11:43 AM I really do hope the best man on the day wins it, no chokers. ~Jin~ 01-25-2008, 11:57 AM he will. Herdwick 01-25-2008, 12:00 PM Would be gut-spewing for Nole were he to lose Sunday - can't get away from that - far worse than losing to either Fed or Nadal. He and Tsonga have never played on the tour as far as I know. Anyone know what the junior history was?
