Vintage Tsonga

This thread has one, and on sole purpose only, so PLEASE DO NOT DIVERGE, I BEG OF YOU, DONT DIVERGE FROM MAIN TOPIC.

So here it goes: The main argument against Tsonga right now (and it's not just coming from here, but other tennis forums too), is that Tsonga has played perfect tennis against Nadal, and CANNOT EVER REPRODUCE IT. In this case, you would say it is "VINTAGE TSONGA".

Now here's my honest opinions (and I would appreciate yours): WHY ON EARTH WOULD HE NOT BE ABLE TO PULL IT OFF WHEN THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE WITNESS VINTAGE TSONGA?!?!!?!?

The first and second sets against mikail youznhy bear no comparison to the first two against Nadal BECAUSE HE PLAYED EVEN BETTER against youznhy. His first set against Tim Henman at USO 07 was subliminal.

Today I would even dare say he was lacking of that little je ne sais quoi that makes him so special.

This wasn't a perfect performance from Tsonga, I've seen better from him, and trust me, you dont wanna confront Tsonga at his best... wot says u?

I would say that people reckon he cant do it again because they're a bunch of haters and know it alls that presume to know the score to every match, even when they called it wrong the day before...

Personally I reckon anything is possible on the day, its up to the individual. But to me its clear to see that Tsonga's potential indicates he could definately win this AO if he plays his best...its as simple as that

I do indeed and not to deviate from thread but, he plays a dissimilar agressive style of play to federer, is the sense that, he doesnt so much attack to go for the winner, but, HE ATTACKS TO COME TO THE NET, and he ends up hitting winners (and this anylisis comes from eurosport). He's a GENIUS (and that's from Eurosport)!!!

the way you're pushing a pro-tso-agenda here on mtf i come to think that you must be either his dad or truly in love with him.

inept inability at any kind of meaningful discourse is simply astounding

Vintage Tsonga? This is one of the first times we've seen him play so spectacularly through a tournament...

Erm... no, he played this well against tim henman at US0 07, and Im glad to see he's kept up the form.

If he continues like this, "Vintage Tsonga" might cause serious issues to fedex that's for sure.
