Great win to Tomic, now he has to play the top seed Cesar Ramirez. That is going to be tough

I saw him win 6-3 6-1, he's a very good player with an even better name.

Daniel Evans will smash all these wannabes.

Evans has already lost a set to someone unseeded and is born in May 1990.Tomic lost a set to a seed but he is born in October 1992 making him only 15, a huge prospect for the future

LOL at this match. Tomic was up 5-2 in the first and blew it. He was again up 5-2 in the third but with two breaks this time. He lucky to get through this one.

really? that's strange because judging from his ao qualies match he didn't seem to have any mental problems at all, winning a very tight 3-setter vs. a pro. and now this? that must've been choking big time...

Ya, I wonder how many match points he had to save in the Wang match. He won the second set breaker 15-13. Had to be at least 5. Anybody keep track of that one?

Yes... he saved 5 mp un that game
but it's not the first time he did it
last year in u14 jr orange bowl he saved 2 and in junior davis cup he saved 2 more vs giacomo miccini from italy... not only a heavy hitter...

good win vs ramirez... i hope he can win the title now

Why would you wish that? Im stoked he is only 15, means he is only going to get bigger and stronger, much more room for development

Evans lost to 8th seeded indian Yuki Bhambri today in a close 3 set QF. but he still has potential.

Its exciting to know that three of the semifinalists are 15 and two of them are asians! They beat the second and third seeds!

Tomic took care of the top seed.(even more chilling for transitional champ!)

signs of the future?
