gotta be the worst in tennis:o
LOL at Nieminen's 2nd serveFitDave 01-20-2008, 05:33 PM gotta be the worst in tennis:o Renaud 01-20-2008, 05:44 PM Did you watch Ferrero/Nalbandian ? I Loled a lot too. Bremen 01-20-2008, 05:45 PM Is it really that bad? Does he have any chance at the semis?? FedFan_2007 01-20-2008, 05:47 PM Makes me appreciates Fed's kick serve all that much more. FitDave 01-20-2008, 05:49 PM Did you watch Ferrero/Nalbandian ? I Loled a lot too. I don't a fu** about Dave, he just has to beat Fed. TheBoiledEgg 01-20-2008, 05:50 PM 70mph  but it worked :tape: FitDave 01-20-2008, 05:51 PM 6 N.Davydenko RUS 218 135  Davy can serve 135mph?!!!!! cartmancop 01-20-2008, 05:58 PM LoL Serena & Vaidisova's Avg 1st and 2nd were both bigger than Nieminen's... It got the job done, though it wasn't pretty. Bilbo 01-20-2008, 06:00 PM Nieminen is a typical soft-hitter but skills are not the most important things in tennis BodyServe 01-20-2008, 06:21 PM 6 N.Davydenko RUS 218 135  Davy can serve 135mph?!!!!! It's not new for him at USO 2004,he already served at 134 mph. Bobby 01-20-2008, 06:45 PM gotta be the worst in tennis:o At least Nieminen is fit. NYCtennisfan 01-20-2008, 07:56 PM I don't a fu** about Dave, he just has to beat Fed. Hmmmm..... Leo 01-20-2008, 07:59 PM Nieminen hit one at about 65 mph against Mardy Fish, and he won the point. As someone earlier wrote, he's always been a soft-hitter, but he's solid and consistent. Doesn't give up ever. Adler 01-20-2008, 08:01 PM Looks like Nieminen's victory pissed many people off and I'm not surprised. On the other side of the draw we've got Federer, Djokovic, Ferrer, Blake, Hewitt, Ferrero, on the other... well, you know NYCtennisfan 01-20-2008, 08:08 PM Looks like Nieminen's victory pissed many people off and I'm not surprised. On the other side of the draw we've got Federer, Djokovic, Ferrer, Blake, Hewitt, Ferrero, on the other... well, you know  Pretty unbelieveable. Bobby 01-20-2008, 08:14 PM Looks like Nieminen's victory pissed many people off and I'm not surprised. On the other side of the draw we've got Federer, Djokovic, Ferrer, Blake, Hewitt, Ferrero, on the other... well, you know Yeah, but Nieminen can't choose his draw. It's not always the case the last eight players are also the top eight in the rankings. Just because Nieminen has a weak serve, doesn't pick his ass or scream come on doesn't mean that he hasn't deserved his place in the QF. Sure, he should work on his serve but apparently he has done something right to get this far. Adler 01-20-2008, 08:18 PM You're right. By the way, I'm not a fan of ass-picking :) Castafiore 01-20-2008, 08:22 PM By the way, I'm not a fan of ass-picking :) Congratulations. ...and the link with Nieminen's 2nd serve is....? Adler 01-20-2008, 08:25 PM Didn't you see any match? answer to V : it was a digression, sorry Castafiore 01-20-2008, 08:26 PM I don't really see why you have to complain about ass picking if you're discussing a serve. That's all. Voo de Mar 01-20-2008, 08:32 PM Arazi's 2nd serve was slower... Nieminen is a good tactician. He doesn't need to serve faster. l_mac 01-20-2008, 08:36 PM Looks like Nieminen's victory pissed many people off and I'm not surprised. On the other side of the draw we've got Federer, Djokovic, Ferrer, Blake, Hewitt, Ferrero, on the other... well, you know Fed, Nole, Ferrer, Blake, Berdych, Hewitt, Ferrero, Cilic. Nadal, Davydenko, Gasquet, Youzhny, Mathieu, Nieminen, Kohlschreiber, Tsonga. I thought the 4th round draws were pretty equal. Youzhny and Kohlschreiber had excellent pre-tournament performances. Davydenko is always very solid. Tsonga is on fire. Berdych and Blake are slam flakes. Ferrer wasn't playing well (and who knows what his actual form is - he's played nobody so far) , and nor was Hewitt. Cilic is an unknown quantity taking his chances in a very weak section of the draw. FitDave 01-20-2008, 09:15 PM  Nieminen is a weird dude Shabazza 01-20-2008, 09:43 PM 6 N.Davydenko RUS 218 135  Davy can serve 135mph?!!!!! Another proof that you're a clueless troll, when it comes to tennis knowledge...poor boy. cardio 01-20-2008, 09:44 PM I thought purpose of every player is to win matches, not to break serve speed records. Nieminen is doing fine with his weak second serve, staying in top 30 constantly several years, reaching GS quarterfinals. By the way, I just watched Karlovic-Youzhnyi match relive in Eurosport player. I bet Ivo hit the weakest 1.serve of this tournament in 3rd set. It was underarm serve on gamepoint, it was total surprise for Youzhnyi and Karlovic won the point:) sheeter 01-20-2008, 09:51 PM It makes Nadal's second serve look like a rocket. stebs 01-20-2008, 09:58 PM I don't really see why you have to complain about ass picking if you're discussing a serve. That's all. He made a jokey response to something Bobby said "just because Nieminen... doesn't pick his ass..." about Nieminen not being as popular as other players due to certain traits and you're all over him like a rash. This isn't a prison you know, sometimes people like to reply to each other about these things. You seem awfully agitated for absolutely no reason. gusman890 01-20-2008, 10:00 PM Nieminen hit a 68 MPH 2nd serve against Fish. WOW, I cant hit harder then that. Burrow 01-20-2008, 10:24 PM  at Nalbandian getting hammered. Burrow 01-20-2008, 10:39 PM Nieminen hit a 68 MPH 2nd serve against Fish. WOW, I cant hit harder then that. You also don't know the difference between "then" and "than". cardio 01-20-2008, 10:52 PM Nieminen hit a 68 MPH 2nd serve against Fish. WOW, I cant hit harder then that. Congratiolations. Surely with your harder serve you reached into 3 GS quarterfinals and beat several times top 10 players:rolleyes: You have every right to be proud of yourself. Kolya 01-21-2008, 02:59 AM Davydenko can serve mate, its technically correct. Sometimes he is a pussy so he just rolls it in. Becker who isn't tall also has the 2nd fastest serve in the AO.
