:bigclap:

Bravo, Andy!

It was good to see his mental toughness under pressure.

Even though Andy's game has improved since last year, Grosjean played Andy tougher this year. He fought throughout the match. Kudos to a worthy opponent.

Oh yes, big props to Seb... he played great I thought!!! Just a few too many errors on the big points was the difference.

Yeah there were  There was one 24-shot rally and Becker said it was more like a clay point. There were a lot of nice rallies really, especially for a grasscourt match:)

It was a really enjoyable match. Why has it taken me this long to realise how good Sebastien is? :) Sebastien could do very well at Wimbledon again this year.

Sebastien did as well as you can against the Roddick serve on grass. Unfortunate for him that he did not make that mid court forehand on set point, or consolidate the early break of the Roddick serve he got in the second set. Sebastien also took the serve very early, a lot nearer the baseline than Lleyton did.

Andy wins Queens again, Roger wins Halle again. Andy wins against a stronger field, again the same as last year. Maybe they will meet at Wimbledon again this year too.

If they do meet again this year, it will be good for both of them because it will be the final unless the Wimbledon cogers go completely nutters on the seedings. ;)

Is this another time where the best player didn't win? ;)

Well, what is the chance of having the no 1 against no 2.? It is pretty rare.

Raquel I'm glad you saw how good Seb is. I think he's a lot of fun to watch. Plus he really just seems like a "good guy" - hard not to like him y'know? Anyway I'm glad you pointed this out..... two years in a row Andy beat a really good field. Makes me very proud.... Ancic, Paradorn, Hewitt, Grosjean, all VERY Good grass players :)

Congrats to both Andy and Roger. Kinda nice to have the top two in the worl defend their titles on the same day and playing well into a slam. *raises glass* here's hoping the high quality of play continues into Wimby:)

Yeah it would be very hard not to like him. It's funny because Seb has been playing in the big events for a good few years now, but watching a few of his matches this week it was like I saw for the first time how good he actually is. He should be fun to watch at Wimbledon.

Well, it was a pleasure to watch a match where the audience actually enjoyed themselves and appreciated play from both players without booing and hissing for no reason. I'm actually impressed that Andy won because Seb was playing so well and the match was pretty close that first set. Even in the second set, Andy never seemed to get his momentum going. It was no Fed/Fish match, that's for sure. ;) He's gotta step it up and return better when he gets to Wimbledon.
