He's not "back in form," but "back on his surface."

Well, don't neglect the fact he had a sore neck. Ideally he'll be fully fit and confident come the Wimbledon fortnight, and there's no reason (decent draw permitting) why he can't make a quarter-final showing or even better perhaps...

Title numero cinco for Ball. First on grass. What a great run at Nottingham for him. Hopefully he can revive his season and start winning some matches and other tournaments. I really wish he'd win Bangkok this year. He can do some damage at the big W if he gets past Mt. Ivo in the first round. If he does, he might potentially set up a meeting with the king of grass his honorable King Federer in the 4th round. Best wishes for Paradorn next week, and throughout the rest of the year.

I hope so, but home title is the most difficult to win. That's why Pat Rafter had never won Australian Open. Or Tim Henman has yet to win Wimbledon.

No, grass is actually not his surface. But he can perform better than clay. He belongs to hard court only. Before the Nottingham finals he has 18-12 career record on grass. He does'nt play on grass as well as he plays on hard court.

Since Paradorn went out early at the big W, I think he should at least play Newport, Gstad or Bastad before heading into the North American hard court season. He should have a good chance to win one of those tournaments. I also hope he gets a good draw at Athens.
