The Official British players' cheering thread!

After the immense performances of Delgado, Marray and Flanagan in round 1 I think that this merits a special cheering thread for British tennis. 4 Britons playing tomorrow - we don't normally have that many in action by the middle of the week: -

J Delgado v J Marray
T Henman (4) v K Beck
I Flanagan v V Hanescu

I think Delgado will win and i wouldn't be surprised if Beck and certaimly Hanescu, put paid to Henman and Flanagan respectively. Henman ought to win but Beck is in great form right now. Hanescu's serve is awesome and he served twice as many aces as Flanagan so breaking his serve will be very tough.

Who do you think will win those matches? Come on Brits - 3 in the 3rd round!!! :)

Flanagan's groundstrokes are amazing! i watched him against Poo today and he was just spanking winners all over the place, ditto Delgado,he's just loooaaaded with confidence. Marray was the least impressive out of the lot imo
but all in all yay for british men :D

Flanagan is the best thing to happen to Welsh mens tennis since... anyway.

F**kin safe Flanagan, knows it clart.

go british wildcards!

I would love to see henman against karlovic, I wonder if all the sets will go to tie breaks or if tim will be able to handle the monster serve of Ivo.

it would be like queens '01 when henman beat wayne arthurs 6-7 7-6 7-6.i did not enjoy sitting thru nearly 3 hours of see'ing tim 40-15 down every game, and these arthurs/karlovic/dent players can always get lucky in tie breaks, and altho yer having a super year timbo, yer tie break record in '04 so far aint hot
