In case you don't know, that would be Gaudio ;)

They aired a taped interview of him and Guille Vilas talking about Argentine tennis and how great it is to have an all-Argentine final. No spots of Guille at all :( Well, I guess Mary Jo wasn't around to translate :p However, the average tennis fan should at least recognize Coria as he was in the finals of Miami which was shown on CBS.

I don't understand all of this Coria-hate. Well, I've only seen him on regular tv and he was gracious in his match against Verkerk last year, was okay with Andy in Miami, and I didn't see any petulance in the few games they showed of the Henman match earlier today

I've never seen Gaudio play and the taped interview is the first I've seen of him live. He seems like a cool guy. I was impressed when he had those string of wins on clay a couple of years back but before I could really follow him, it seemed that he became a psycho choker. Anyone want to give a reason how he's kept it together for six matches? Will he pull an Elena tomorrow or will we have a competive match as Mal thinks?

Overall, who do you think is the more talented of the two?

Okay...ready to talk :)

I think Coria is the more talented of the two, but that isn't to slight Gaudio. Gaudio certainly has a nicer backhand ;)

I really don't think that Gaudio will "pull an Elena". He's worked too hard the past two weeks to do that. He's had many times to choke but hasn't showed many signs of nerve... so, why start now?

I think it's good that they showcased Gaudio, btw. Coria has gotten quite a bit of airplay in the past week, and Gaudio has not. It's good of them to take the time to "introduce" Gaudio. They have sung Coria's praises all week.

It's too bad Dahveed didn't make the final... then we'd hate everyone involved.

And I enjoy watching Dahveed's titties flap around.
