Is Nadal Ever Gonna Change His Look?

Perfection

For 3 years now, hes been wearing the same shit and looking the same shitty way. The long, tangled shoulder-length hair, the sleeveless shirts, the capri pants, & the bandanas. He just never seems to change. He looks quite tacky actually.

When will he change his style? Atleast a haircut, for goodness sake!

He should do his hair like that again. Such an improvement! :o

just the clamdiggers need to go--he even said that after this he'll never wear them again. Sucks for the chumps that ran out to buy them in an attempt to cop his look

I like Rafa's look :hearts: Maybe I could live without the piratas, so long as his shorts were still cut tight around the famous ass.

Gasquet looks exactly the same in that picture as he does now

And that's the problem. They have to have their marketing "anti-Federer", so if Federer appears in millitary uniform, Nadal will be dressed as ballerina

Adler, I think he looks realy nice always (he pushes it with the neon) but the sleeveless shirts are so Rafa.

edited to add: seeing vids/pics of Nadal as a boy make me feel squicky. I can only deal with 18+

Well... perhaps a bit more often on court bearing those lovely stubbles. ;)

He's picked up the nasty shaving-is-bad-luck superstition. Since he can't pull off a hot designer-stubble look then he really should keep clean shaven. His beard's about as neat as Murray's

Besides that, he shouldn't change a thing.

No facial hair please and he needs to do something about the haircut. I think he should experiment with shorter hair.

BTW Claybuzza :D I don't know how you can do it when Roger and Rafa are playing against each other. The Baghdatis-Nadal match is a torture. I want them both to win :sobbing:.

:yeah:

I'm not crazy about the look, but regardless of personal bias, Nadal is a marketing machine. He moves a lot of merchandise, and puts a lot of behinds in the seats of whatever tournament he plays- why change it? He's got serious support from more than the under 18 demographic. ;)

Why should he?
He is great, special player like him can also have a special look. :)
However, sooner or later he will get older and will change anyway...I wonder how will he look like when 40-50 years old, with those huge arms

11-03-2007, 06:21 PM
No he won't. He's looked the same ever since he came on the tour so I doubt he'll miraculously change now. Most don't change their look anyways .

I'm just waiting for the day where he'll start wearing clothes that don't form like a 2nd skin to his body :tape:. His ass is big enough, he doesn't need to accentuate it by wearing those tight-ass pants. Also doesn't he know that wearing tight pants/undies makes them ride up your crack and force you to pick it from time to time? Moreso for him since he goes at it after every point is done.

I'd pay to see that :)

BTW, I like his look. Maybe just trim the hair, not a major change. When he cut it a few years ago it flipped out and reminded me of Condoleezza Rice

Not that I give a damn about Rafa's looks, but wanted to comment on the beard thing. I agree with you that his stubble is not very appealing ATM, but if you look at his father's side of the family, they all have heavy beards -- you can always spot the five 'clock shadow on uncles Tony and Miguel.

So, methinks he's just a late beard bloomer and it will fill-out eventually.

Is calling a guy "pretty" a compliment? I never know...:p

Nothing wrong with his anatomical parts, imo- I was just talking about not being a fan of long-ish hair. Reminds me too much of the prima donna musicians I have to work with at my job. Maybe it's guilt by association.

I just talked to someone about this the other day, and I'd imagine this will continue to come up. He's a well of untapped potential for the ATP. Some minor tweaks/changes, and watch...;)

You lose me with the adorable thing, though. I understand the "adorable" thing- lord knows many of my friends agree with you, but I just can't get into it. Putting any sort of a sexualized white wash on him is...

Hmm, I noticed the part in his hair is getting wider. If he's not going bald, his hair is starting to thin a bit; if that's true, a shorter haircut gives more volume.

Lots of people agree with you, maybe more than those who agree with me. I don't know- I can't look at him in that way. A cash cow/golden goose? Yes. A poster child, tacked on my wall? Negative. :p

I couldn't agree more. Many of the hot spanish players have been cutting their hair and even though they're still hot, the long hair was much nicer. I've always had trouble figuring out whether I found Rafa attractive or not, but at this years Wimbledon I realised that Rafa is very attractive, but only when he shaves (I usually don't like facial hair at all). So I say he should keep the hair (and even the pants make good entertainment, I still laugh every time he picks his butt), but he needs to lose the facial hair.

Yeah, the long hair is nicer! Is Moya with short hair? He was the first spanish player who I became fan 'cause of the sexy long hair, yummie ;) Well, Rafa has a baby face so he needs to shave. Facial hair doesn't combine with him at all. For me Rafa is attractive with short hair but he is even more attractive with long hair :p I've a question, why he picks his butt everytime? lol  it's so funny, but I love this entertainment :aplot::drool::hearts:

That's why I think he's even more adorable with them beard stubbles than without...
