Nalbandian. New Serve?

He is doing it great and it's a new fact of his improving.

I couldn't find statistics but after watching his matches against Federer and now against Ferrer he is making much more aces and winners with serve. I feel like he is also serving faster. Now it's harder to break him and I'm not sure, but I think he haven't being broke lately.

Another plus for Jaite as coach.

Yeah I felt that too.
Maybe saving bps is a psychological effect, but his serving impresses me so far. Even when his first serve goes a fault, it looks pretty faster than usual.

His serve has helped him a lot today; his bh is not working that well (no bh winners yet)...

Yep, his serve has been a lot better at least since Madrid.

Now it's not a weakness anymore :)

His volleying seems to have improved as well, did a sampras slam dunk against ferrer LoL. Only thing suspect is his fitness.

He has 15 aces in the Ferrer match so far and 0 double faults, so i guess that's a good example of his new and improved serve

I think 18 aces is correct not 15.And the opponent was Ferrer who is one of the best returners on tour.

Yeap... He fired 18 aces. Is that a record for him in a 3 sets match?

He is serving much better, he is fitter and is still very impressive from the baseline and volleying well. Overall the game to challenge for number 1 if he commits to a full year which very unlikely.

Often mentioned, but he does so often win 5 set matches.

Nalbandian had improved his serve since estoril last year until Roland Garros where he got injured against Federer then since there he got back to his old serve until now where he is serving even better, he does not make many dfs

Confidence might have a lot to do with his serve.
