Albop 11-02-2007, 02:38 PM Great match baggy :worship: selyoink 11-02-2007, 02:38 PM Shame a mug like Mugdatis is still playing. Nothing to like about a player who shows up for about 5 tournaments a year. 2moretogo 11-02-2007, 02:38 PM :bounce: :bounce: Deathless Mortal 11-02-2007, 02:38 PM :yeah: stebs 11-02-2007, 02:38 PM :) Great result for Baghdatis and his first ever AMS SF and it is likely he will play the guy he played in his only previous AMS QF (Nadal). Robredo just got outmanoevred and outplayed by Baghdatis who played very well. Maybe a few too many dropshots there but no matter and defeating Robredo solidly isn't easy. rocketassist 11-02-2007, 02:38 PM Too good, Marcos :hatoff: Boredo :bigwave: Now Muzza and Gasgay bring it on :boxing: Bilbo 11-02-2007, 02:38 PM since when baggy can handle the pressure? Bilbo 11-02-2007, 02:39 PM Shame a mug like Mugdatis is still playing. Nothing to like about a player who shows up for about 5 tournaments a year. jup, like birdshit or gonzo Shrinking Violet 11-02-2007, 02:40 PM Good job, Baggy.:woohoo: Relly pleased. Feel a bit bad for wishing failure on Robredo, but TMC will be a better place with Murray or Gasquet there. Good year, Tommy. LocoPorElTenis 11-02-2007, 02:40 PM Marcos can still qualify for Shanghai if he wins the title and the winner of Richie-Andy loses in the SF. Also Nalbi has a chance to make it as an alternate if he goes all the way. Rogieva 11-02-2007, 02:41 PM A whole 6 winners from Robredo :hearts: :tape: Iván 11-02-2007, 02:41 PM bandyman aint going forget it. he cocked it up in basle losing to the midget. Metis 11-02-2007, 02:42 PM Marcos! :woohoo: Robredo had no chance today as he was being outplayed... Now he should focus because it will only get harder... :scared: yeahright 11-02-2007, 02:43 PM good one, baggy! tommy should wear the short shorts again. Voo de Mar 11-02-2007, 02:43 PM Baggay :worship: He is a good friend of Muggay and Gasqay  ;) canbera 11-02-2007, 02:45 PM it's great not to see Robredo at the Masters Cup this year. Jimnik 11-02-2007, 02:45 PM Great result. :yeah: With all due respect to Robredo I'm sure most people wanted either Gasquet or Murray to make the TMC, not another Spaniard. And Baggy still has a shot at making the TMC although he needs the winner of Murray-Gasquet to lose in the SF. Jaap 11-02-2007, 02:46 PM I wonder how Boredo expects to win matches on hard courts against good players standing 10 miles behind the baseline when returning 2nd serves? Metis 11-02-2007, 02:46 PM ...and suddenly everyone starts liking Marcos again :haha: rocketassist 11-02-2007, 02:46 PM You're shit, and you know you are...you're shit, and you know you are... :D my0118 11-02-2007, 02:47 PM Can't believe he's still in the top 10. He's my other sunny boy beside Rafa. :D scoobs 11-02-2007, 02:51 PM That's for the assist, Marcos. Robredo - you were there last year and didn't really impress or impose yourself on the event so I'm glad to see we'll get another new face this year - losing Robredo and Ljubicic is good news. Nalbandian 2.0 would have been good but it looks like he arrived too late at the party to make it unless Roddick quacks off. sonia 11-02-2007, 02:53 PM Great result. :yeah: With all due respect to Robredo I'm sure most people wanted either Gasquet or Murray to make the TMC, not another Spaniard. And Baggy still has a shot at making the TMC although he needs the winner of Murray-Gasquet to lose in the SF. Why not? :o Jaap 11-02-2007, 02:54 PM Why not? :o Because they're boring players. Hope this helps. Both of them can school Roddick, beat Gonzalez, beat Ferrer and Murray has dismissed the PMK twice. Kitty de Sade 11-02-2007, 03:09 PM Huge congrats to Baggy- good job! :clap2: *Viva Chile* 11-02-2007, 03:16 PM Thank you Baggy  cmurray 11-02-2007, 03:19 PM So am I. ;) Just approaching things from the other side.:p Its all good. vincayou 11-02-2007, 03:42 PM Baghdatis still on course for the masters. Merton 11-03-2007, 02:29 AM It's great to see Baghy getting deep into a big event again but I give him no chance against Nadal. Well, there are no certainties but Nadal is a horrible matchup for him, I had more hopes for the 1st round match in Madrid than here even though Marcos had an excellent run in Basel and in this tournament so far. I would love to be proven wrong though. HNCS 11-03-2007, 03:05 AM this is just a simply fantastic day. Marek. 11-03-2007, 06:03 AM Well, there are no certainties but Nadal is a horrible matchup for him, I had more hopes for the 1st round match in Madrid than here even though Marcos had an excellent run in Basel and in this tournament so far. I would love to be proven wrong though. He just doesn't believe enough when it comes to the very top players. It would be great if this changes tomorrow but I don't think it will. Merton 11-03-2007, 06:17 AM He just doesn't believe enough when it comes to the very top players. It would be great if this changes tomorrow but I don't think it will. It is not only belief, this is a bad matchup for Marcos, he serves at a low 1st serve % so he gives Nadal looks for baseline rallies on his serve. Even more importantly, he doesn't handle high balls to his forehand very well, this is particularly bad against Nadal as he ends up far behind the baseline in rallies. But belief is certainly important, for example the Madrid match. Ferrero Forever 11-03-2007, 06:43 AM It's a shame that Tommy won't get a chance to play in Shanghai, but to me whats worse is that Gasquet took Tommy's place. At least it wasn't Murray, but yeah I'd rather Tommy over Gasquet anyday. mediter 11-03-2007, 06:58 AM [QUOTE=YayoMassa skadad;6219884]Typical MTF now Baghdatis is a hero and not a mug anymore, the classic bandwagon player.
