They're alive!

1) 8. Haas GER - Plays Youzhny in RD3
2) 9. Robedo SPA - Plays Canas in RD3
3) 10. Murray SCO - Plays Santoro in RD3
4) 11. Berdych CZE - Plays Ferrer in RD 3
5) 12. Blake USA - Plays Mahut in RD2
6) 13. Gasquet FRA - Playing TSONGA at the moment in RD2
7) 14. Moya SPA - Playing NALBANDIAN at the moment in RD2
8) 16. Canas ARG - Plays Robredo in RD3
9) 17. Youznhy RUS - Plays Haas inn RD3
10) 18. Baghdatis CYP - Plays Davydenko in RD3
11) 21. Karlovic CRO - Plays Federer in RD2
12) 25. Nalbandian ARG - Playing MOYA at the moment in RD2

After RD2, 1 contender will die for sure! (Moya Or Nalbandian) (11 Left At Least)
After RD3, 2 contenders will die for sure! (Canas-Robredo)(Youznhy-Haas) (9 Left At Least)

Players like Karlovic, Baghdatis and Nalbandian, need robredo and haas to lose in those RD3 meetings, since if they win, they would practlly eliminate them as contenders..

If Gasquet, Blake and Karlovic Loses (+moya or Nalbs) that will leave us with 8 contenders +2 more to lose in RD3

Final 6 at least! (Without counting in rd 3 loses for berdych, haas, baghdatis etc..)

Gasquet WON

I think Gonzo will be there, and i would now say Murray is favorite looking at the draw with Gasquest and Blake probably the most realistic after that.

Gasquet 1-0 Murray (never lost a set)
Gasquet 1-0 Blake (never lost a set)
Gasquet 2-0 Santoro (never lost a set)
Gasquet 2-0 Mahut (never lost a set)

I would say Gasquetis the favorite looking at the draw, specialy playing in France, but you never know if he suddenly decides to choke.

I dont think you can really say a player has a huge advantage after only playing once, i would say Murray would be favourite to beat Gasquet on current form if they met.

You are right, but it surely looked convincing the way he beat Murray and Blake in Toronto. I would not bet against him in Paris.

Fair enough mate, but i think one of them three will make the semis here and will get a spot in the Masters Cup.

Gasquet has beaten Murray twice.... The other time was an exhibition... I say Gasquet has the edge.... technically more gifted than Murray

Gasquet - way more gifted and how I would SOOOO much LOVE to see him beat Murray but Richard's brain/choke ability is always suspect. Would like to see the two hyped up young guns battle it out but only if Gasquet has the same fight and brilliance as his Roddick match at Wimby. But Gasquet still has a match to go before that potential show down and you never know which Richie will show up. Hope Gasquet uses his home crowd instead of getting pressured by it and makes a great run.

Richard's mental game is suspect, but his ability is beyond reproach. Beating Tsonga was a huge obstacle overcome. Whatever the outcome, alongside Federer, Gasquet has to have one of the most beautiful games in tennis today. Looking forward to the Blake or Mahut matchup tomorrow.

This is down to points, not personality. Haas, Robredo, Blake, Murray, Berdych, Gasquet, even Youzhny .... whoever compiles most points for race is worthy ...
