Ljubicic serving for the second set here, but couldn't close it out.

Did Marcos continue his good form from his last match or was this Ivan not playing well?

Nice choke in the second set for the end of the season :yeah:
Good luck next year :)
Congrats Baggy :yeah:

Chronicle of an elimination foretold, Ivan lost his Shanghai chances before Paris, Marcos is a bad matchup for him.

Yep definatly a tough matchup for Ljuba Truba, it was evident when he lost to him earlier this year in the finals of his home tournament.

10-31-2007, 04:35 PM
The first few months of next year will be critical for Ljubicic, a lot of points to defend in both the smaller events and IW/Miami. Being unable to win a match at both indoor Masters with his game is a real indicator of the slump he's in at the moment.

One of the best victory of his career for Marcos

It was against the real number 2 and King of Indoors

10-31-2007, 04:39 PM
Good one Marcos :yeah:

10-31-2007, 04:39 PM
Good job from Marcos winning it in 2 after being broken twice in the 2nd set. He hit some nice passing shots. :) The good news is that he is serving well in this tournament.

Now go beat Davydenko!

10-31-2007, 04:44 PM
Keep it up Marcos :yeah:

10-31-2007, 04:45 PM

good luck vs Davydenko!

Ljuba Truba sucks well :silly:

10-31-2007, 04:48 PM
Never in doubt for Marcos.

10-31-2007, 04:48 PM
Ivan is garbage and will never return to the top of the game where he once was.

10-31-2007, 04:49 PM
Well done Marcos.

10-31-2007, 04:54 PM
Tough times ahead for the overrated and big mouthed baldy. He´s slowly going down to where he belongs, outside top 30 :yeah:

10-31-2007, 05:05 PM
Baggy owns him so not surprised.

10-31-2007, 05:24 PM
I was concerned near the end of the second set when Baggy fell and scraped up a couple of fingers on his right hand, but he sucked it up and finished it. I actually missed the tiebreak because I was called to a meeting at work, ugh.

10-31-2007, 05:30 PM
Baghman :rocker2: Now take out the Donkey :armed:

Real No. 2 Ivan

10-31-2007, 05:55 PM
 Baggy!!!

Baghman :rocker2: Now take out the Donkey :armed:

Real No. 2 Ivan

When he said that he just meant 2 + 20.

10-31-2007, 07:21 PM
Hmm I only saw bits and pieces of the 2nd set and from what I've seen, Ljubo wasn't that bad... Baggy was great and he is a pretty bad matchup for him anyway. One more victory and he's going to pigeonize him

10-31-2007, 07:38 PM
Good win for the Baghman and hopefully a good result here will inspire a rise in consistent concentration next year.

Bad way to end a bad season.Hopefully 2008 will be a better year for him but I think his time has past.

10-31-2007, 07:40 PM
Only way is down for Ivan next year now.

10-31-2007, 11:11 PM
Only got one thing to say... 4-1 :D

10-31-2007, 11:16 PM
Good win Markos!!:yeah: Now it's davydenko next.

10-31-2007, 11:19 PM
