Thank god Coria is winning now, because losing to Henman on clay is about as bad as it gets if you're a clay courter. and Tim finally holds now, but Coria will run away with the 4th set and the match in a few minutes.

You make it sound like Coria is some 5-year old kid who desperately needs your protection. That's hardly my impression of him. Why don't you give him some credit for being tough instead. He makes his own choices and can handle the consequences.

Congrats to Coria for winning, even though I was desperately hoping Henman would upset him. Do you even realize that by calling Tim a choker, you only take away from Coria's win and that's not what either player deserves. The joke's on you.

Well I haven't looked at the stats either, but I'm pretty sure that Nalbandian is the only Argentinian who makes the semis of any mandatory tournament outside the clay season, and he's not won a tournament himself for 18 months. Coria has only ever won one outside of clay, and that's because Nalbandian gave him a walkover.

No, you said that the crowd was picking on a 22-year-old, as if at 22 you are some kind of weakling and not a man. It would have been different had you said a 16-year-old. That I could understand.

The crowd was tough on everyone and Coria didn't get the worst of it at all. It's their prerogative to cheer for or against any player, nothing unfair about it. From what I've seen the crowd usually doesn't have the slightest effect on Coria in any way. He just blocks it out. I really don't think they made him made today.

Oh, cut the crap. It's perfectly within his rights to check the mark, there's no rule against it. But the frequency at which he goes about it is annoying at best. Some people don't like it and consequently don't like him. So what? Do you need everyone to like Coria?

You can claim that others do it too and it's true, but no one does it quite as often as Coria. It also depends on the moment. Sometimes he questions the calls that even he believes were right, that's what I find objectionable. But why should you care what I think of his behavior?

so true georgeH, i like argentine players, i know its a "minority" of 1 or 2 of these fans, they cannot just be very happy and celebrate in theyre own way for coria, gaudio wins..they feel they have to come here and gloat like some kinda war was won, its sad that theyre sport represents that to them,

slagging of henman as a choker and taking real DELIGHT because he lost a bagel set.........at least henman has put in 5 years of imense work to improve himself for clay.what do the argentine players do? they turn up at wimby, lose in round 1 then go to the press tents "i dont like grass, i dont like this place, i dont want to play here, i want to play on clay again, im injured"
hey......does "argentine players" include nalbandian (further in wimby than the SUPERB TIMMY)????? caņas also got to 4th round......maybe after "5 years of inmense work" they will get better

tim went thru a bad crisis and lost 13 games in a row.how did he respond? won 5 in a row to go 5-3 up in the 4th , thats character, not choking(v some1 like coria, might i remind you, no 1 else in this event had that character, J.Monaco (arg) HINT HINT HINT!!!, and lets be perfectly fucking honest, tim gave coria a hell of a scare more than any other argentine player has done to coria for about 2 years.

gaudio scared him in Hamburg last year......but got bagled too!!!! :) :)

that would have been character if he did not lose next 4 games to go HOME

5 set battle? ok......so you need 5 sets to beat an injured player....not good.....

The discussion on that semi-final has been done many many times. Let's not go there ok? (Personally I think it was a real pity Nalbandian didn't win in 3, but he'll certainly have other chances.)

dont you want to praise Guillermo for showing his great fighting skills, and champion spirits for coming back from 3-5???? u obviously dont have as much gloating power for coria if you believe average players like henman need to CHOKE for coria to win, ure not saying an awful lot for your "mighty hero" or should i say 1 of your soldiers in the war

you cannot understand what it feels like to call tim a choker.........he was playing on clay, v the greatest clay machine in the world, he was giving everything in his body to fight so hard, and no1 gave him a chance, but he fights and fights and fights from 6-3 4-6 0-6 0-3....too 5-3, then coria turned into the champion he "will be", tim never cries, he doesnt smash racquets, he doesnt scream, he doesnt do injury time outs or look at umpires, he fights always and (today) loses with his best, look at nalbi in the 3rd set v gaudio today, he wanted to go home and cry :)

Sorry, but if u haven't realised, EVERYONE called Moya 'choker' after that match

Anyway, I'm soooooo glad Guille won! My god i almost die while watching it! I arrived home when Coria was 3-6 3-4 Henman serving... omg You should have seen my face! I was pale... but then he started playing soooooooo well... and when I left (4th set, 3-3, deuce) he got broken  I guess i brought him some luck
And then i went to school... and with my friends we went to a market that had a tv and the match was on, so we stayed there watching it with a few other people :) i was kinda dissapointed cuz he didn't react as i thought he would when he won.
But anyway.. I'm really really happy he won!! We'll have an argentinean final! This is gonna be soooo cool!
