No, it's American. Are you familiar with the rapper 50 Cent? Well he sang it.

I think he meant English as an all-encompassing term. ;)

But you know what? That reference is so tired it's not even worth commenting on. Unless your intent is to be derisory.

Tim, if you finally beat Coria, you'll make my day. I saw it very difficult, but since the match keeps going I start to see it possible. That's awesome!

The French crowd doesn't like it when players are questioning the linecalls and Coria does it all the time. Perhaps that's part of the reason.

Henman choked - he should have won the 2nd set when up a break.

And up 5-3 in the fourth!

How many chances do you want against the best claycourter in the world!?!

Marine
06-04-2004, 05:58 PM
Henri Leconte, the word of the end: "pffffffffffffffff "

The crowd was clearly for Tim , the french journalists and former players too.

Well, what to add: I won't watch the final.
And in Wimby, we won't see coria and'co a long time, that's the only good news of the day.

Congrats Tim, you saved the end of the tournament with your fabulous game ! :worship:

MisterQ
06-04-2004, 06:02 PM
sounds like Tim had chances to win this match, but didn't capitalize on them. but he should be proud of his effort at this tournament --- I never thought I would see him giving the best claycourter a tough match in the RG SEMIS!

thank you, Tim Henman, for great tennis and even more importantly, great offensive tennis.

Coria won the match, but nevertheless, taking a set off Coria is worth being mentioned and he put up a fight against Coria.

Henman :worship: :worship: great performance on clay :yeah:

As many as he can create. It's not like he was handed anything on a plate.

I think the verb to choke should be used more sparingly, when it's really deserved (see Nalbandian today), not every time someone fails to serve for the set. But that's just me. Henman fought until the end and that's what matters.

a sad day, truelly

but in the bigger picture, we henman fans are sad that he lost a SF of the french open to a clay court king, he was more than good enuff to beat

how amazing is it to be able to say this about henman, considering 5 years ago he couldnt beat a junior on clay

great effort timmy, wimbledon is coming to you some day soon.
