I think the question should be: who will play TMS-Paris?

This year Federer has won all the traditionally weaker Masters Series events like Hamburg and Cincinnati, so he can win Paris too. :D

Well, I don't know if you've seen the Paris entry list, but it's definitely NOT a weak field this year - and even more, all players in good form/good on HC are on Fed's side of the draw, so I surely wouldn't consider a Fed victory as a given!

It would be a sad day for tennis if Ivo the serving machine Karlovic wins Paris, which I personally think will not happen. The day a player wins a major title (beating the best player this era has to offer) by only being able to serve well will be the day I stop watching tennis and start watching something more exciting like darts.

Nadal.

Well, with Raf's rather friendly draw, I would most definitely not count him out as a candidate for the Paris title, even more so as it seems the surface has been slowed down for quite a bit. It's merely a matter of staying healthy, if he does, I wouldn't be too surprised to see him go very far here.

If Safin was in the poll he'd get more votes. It's just the way MTF works. :p

How about something different, say Murray or Haas? (I should look at the draw, I suppose...)

Well go ahead moron. It is good to see idiot like you get off the tennis and start watching darts or anything. Who cares. And take Andresno1fan with you. :wavey:
Actually it is fakers like djvokovic who is killing tennis not karlovic. It would be very very sad day if Djvokovic wins a GS with faking injuring and distrating opponents.(altough it won't happen as long as federer is there.)

Karlovic is not a serve only. Basically you need to get your head checked before posting this shit.

You're wrong, if Djokovic wins a GS, it could be the best boost ever for the sport. Hel, even with the second place in USO he gattered alot of public interest imagine him as CHAMPION :D

And what could kill tennis is certainly a turtle on the court aka Ivo or Isner. After their service you don't expect much ...

Why would that be?

On the topic, it will probably be someone random. I don't see Fed, Nadal or Djoko winning this.

Federer looks tired to me.

1. Djokovic
2. Nadal (great path to the finals)
3. Federer
4. Nalbandian
5. Murray

You bet - he's got a dream draw. He won't make #1 this year even if he wins Paris. There isn't anyone in his draw that should keep him from the final. If he doesn't make the final then he should think long and hard about using the indoor season as a time to rest. It's year two or three that he's been beat up during the indoor season.

Somebody unexpected. Berdych or Marcos if Nadal loses before the semis.

I said it was traditionally weak - Hamburg and Cincinnati weren't weak either, although that is in reference to the last few years since it wasn't like that earlier.

Karlovic is not serve only? Hmmm is that was he wins by serving 40 aces and 90% of the time every set goes to tie break?

you seen the stats on atp lately???

No.1 in aces - Karlovic

No. 1st serve points won - Karlovic

No. 1 in service games won - Karlovic

Now, this is interesting,

THE LAST ON THE LIST at no.69 for BREAK POINTS CONVERTED - Karlovic

Points won RETURNING the 1st and 2nd serve - Karlovic isn't even on the list.

What does that stat tell you? I'm sure you're smart enough to figure it out yourself.

It's ok to like the guy and all, and good for him for getting where he is with his VERY LIMITED game, but saying that Karlovic isn't only serve is like saying Federer is overrated.
