I think Amadeus Fulford-Jones (GBR) comes close...seems to play all year long, more or less a professional, but keeps losing in the first round or qualifying round of futures in Africa and other far away places against competition that anyone that plays tennis probably has a shot at beating.

A serious nomination for the worst player on the tour is Britain's Robert Dee..

Atp Profile: http://www.atptennis.com/3/en/players/playerprofiles/default.asp?playersearch=Robert+Dee

Check out his loss streak and you will see that he is a worthwhile nomination..

I see
half of your players in your signature are challengers players and have no games other than thier forehand.
henri paul mathieu- if he had no forehand he would be top 500 player playing futures tournament.
Carlos Moya- no forehand he would be ranked outside 200. rest of his game is pretty mediocore
Joachim Johannson. How the fuck you criticize karlovic when you support another players who has none other than serve. You are really racist when it comes to karlovic
Stansilas Wawrinka- mediocore player. if it isn't for clay court tournaments he would be ranked outside top 200 on other surfaces.
BTW i like johansson, moya, stan and mathieu regardless of whatever game they have. :wavey: I'm not hater like you.

As for you calling karlovic a one trick pony. Here are the facts.
He won three titles on three different surfaces.(He beat zabaleta 6-4 6-1 to win houston. beat clement 3-6 6-4 6-4 to win nottigham and tojo 6-3 3-6 6-1 to win stockholm. I'm sure you didn't see a single tiebreak and two breadsticks karlovic handed out.)He has record of 42-20 this year

BTW Karlovic is top 25. like it or not and yes he has better games those some of the mugs you support.

There are a lot more players less skilled than Volandri but its his weak serve that stands out.

Impressive! You have to look at www.itftennis.com (Men's circuit) to get all his results, I count 47 consecutive first round losses (most in first round of futures qualifying) since he started playing in early 2005.

Fulford-Jones ocassionally wins a match, but he does seem to travel more consistently than Dee who seems to be based in Spain.

I heard he comes from a very wealthy family. Do you know anything about that? He travels so frequently only to lose in the first round and that sort of thing cannot be cheap. What is his motivation to maintain such dismal results? If he has all that cash to travel, then certainly he has the money for decent training.

[QUOTE=saiprakash0315;6197943]Stansilas Wawrinka- mediocore player. if it isn't for clay court tournaments he would be ranked outside top 200 on other surfaces.
QUOTE]

Nope, that is just not true...you only have to look at his results this season...and last season. As a matter of fact his game even suits fast surfaces better than slower ones - due to his strong serve and ability to hit hard off both wings. Stan obviously prefers clay because it gives him more time to prepare his shots, especially on the return side. Furthermore his footwork seems to be better on clay, too. But it has to be stated that Stan's best results didn't necessarily come on clay courts. Basel semi-finals in 2006,3rd Round Aussie Open, Quarterfinals in New Haven,4th Round US OPEN, Final in Vienna 2007...speaks for itself, doesn't it? Also, because of his heavy injury at the beginning of the year 2007 he wasn't able to play well during the biggest part of the clay court season...still he was able to back that up with some good results ond faster surfaces.

Mathieu without his forehand > Karlovic without is his serve. At least Paul-Henri can move well and still has one of the better backhands in the game, he'd still manage to be in the top 200.

Moya has a big serve and good movement as well, he's actually half-decent at the net as well as you saw during Wimbledon.

Wawrinka would easily be top 50 even if there was no clay season. He is probably better on hard or carpet anyway. Oh, and if I recall correctly, he beat a certain all serve, one trick pony on the lawns of Wimbledon last year. ;)

Joachim Johansson also has one of the biggest forehands in the game and is just as good at net than Karlovic.

When you have to celebrate each time the guy gets a break, then you know he is all serve. :)

I find this thread pointless and stupid. A lot of the lower ranked players work really hard and travel to small tournaments in some bizarre countries, and can hardly pay their expenses. Not everyone can be in the top ten, but some of those challenger-guys are real fighters. I see no point in asking who´s the worst player, those guys deserve some credit!
