So Gasquet's title defence comes crashing to a halt, but well done to Tsonga for reaching his 2nd quarter-final in the space of 3 weeks.

I'm sad for Richie but great that Tsonga is starting to get good results on the ATP circuit, and he has a decent shot at a 1st final here.

With every interview from Gasquet after a defeat, you can always sense in his words that he'd already conceded to his opponent when there's any slight sign of a sickness, injury or favorable condition toward his opponent. Richie really needs to hitch a ride with the cowardly lion to go to the Wizard of Oz so he can get himself some courage and spine. His talents are great but he's such a wimp!

I like Gasquet - but I wish someone would get inside his head and sort it out. He has a legitimate shot of Shanghai so surely that should be motivating him? I understand that it's a long season and all that crap, but his season is going to be over in a couple of weeks unless he gets his act together. :smash:
